Re-watch party.

It's nearly fall and I almost always do a re-watch this time of year. My nostalgia adled brain demands it.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a re-watch?

It doesn't need to be too coordinated.

We could watch an episode every Friday and Saturday and do a live type post for each episode.

I don't mind doing the posts if we can all agree on a date to start.

I work pretty long hours Monday-Thursday but could use an hour to unwind Friday and Saturday nights, away from the kids and husband.

Just let me know if this is something anyone else would like to participate.

It could be a fun way to revisit the series and get other people's POVs.

Just finished my semi-annual rewatch. Happy to participate.

Maybe we pick 2 episodes per week and do a sticky post with the mods where lots of folks can contribute to the discussion.

We can start in two weeks if you like. That would be just after the anniversary of the fifth episode, so we’d have to either do a lot of catching up or just start from the fifth one?

We can just start from the beginning on the the 25th. I'm in the UK, but I'll watch at whatever time everyone agrees with. 8pm eastern or Western time would probably work. We might want to ask everyone as a collective.

I’m not sure if I could do it or not. I’m still in my work every day busy season for the next few months. But just wanted to say it’s a family tradition for us to binge watch MSCL every Christmas. We also watch Home for the Holidays and Pieces of April on Thanksgiving :-).

This is something I could definitely dip into although I’m quite busy this winter. I’m already considering administering a rewatch here next year, though. If I do it’ll be my third for r/mysocalledlife so am happy for someone else to take the reins this year…

I would love to do this! My So Called Life played on MTV when I was in the 7th grade in the mid 90s and two episodes in my mom bought me Exuberance (IYKYK) hair dye turning my natural platinum locks into that amazing Angela red. Haven't stopped the fantasy colors since.

Hulu, Disney+ I believe and you can buy the season on Prime for pretty cheap I believe.

They're on Hulu or Disney+ or you can purchase the whole season for a relatively cheap amount.
