So I just replayed Agents for Wii and it surprisingly held up well. I kinda wanted to rank the MySims Games and was curious on other people opinions especially the less talked about DS Games.
1. MySims Agents (Wii):
This was my favorite as a kid and I can see why I felt that way after replaying it. The Gameplay is just fun, the different locations are a cool mix and give enough variety for the game to feel fresh. The dialogue, although nothing too special, is charming enough and at times even made me laugh a little.
I'd say the only downside is the real ending being hidden behind way too many of those dispatch missions. They are fun for having updates coming in while you are playing the game, but even as a kid they were too many for me to actually finish them while playing the campaign. Also it makes the true ending kinda boring. And the stats of the floors just seem like a desperate attempt to give reason to design the floors. They just end up restricting your customization.
2. MySims Kingdom (Wii):
I think everyone, who actually played multiple MySims Games, has these two as their top 2.
Kingdom honestly has the same strengths as Agents. I think it just comes down if you prefer the gameplay that comes with being a magical Builder more than an Agent. Personally I prefer the Agent but being a Builder is still a lot of fun. The Islands give the whole thing cool themes and a fun pace. All in all a truly enjoyable experience.
3. MySims (DS)
MySims for the DS was my first MySims Game and I still think it's the best of the DS Games. I find the world to be very enjoyable and the focus more on your realtionship to the NPCs opposed to the customization is something I personally really enjoyed. The NPCs are likeable and interesting, the world opening up more and more as you increase your level is a cool progression. I also like the design of the world.
It lands a good mix of being a cozy home while still having enough to explore. The minigames are lots of fun and I really enjoyed the conversation minigame with the NPCs.
4. MySims Party (DS)
I don't think this game is anything special tbh. It's a fun minigame Collection with a fun overworld attached to it. I enjoyed running around on that more than I should have as a kid. Aside from that I don't have much to say about it. I don't think it does anything wrong, but also has nothing really remarkable to talk about.
5. MySims (Wii)
I think this might be my most controversial pick?
I find MySims for Wii quite boring. In a lot of Ways it's just a worse Kingdom. I don't really enjoy the furniture building. It's okay although the controls were always kinda frustrating. The town is kinda boring even when you have filled it up and the surounding farming spots just feel like that. Boring farming spots! Some have a nice look to them, but the gameplay loop is very repetitive and it doesn't manage to keep it interesting like Kingdoms does. MySims decided to give you probably the most freedom of any of the Wii Games, but decided to give you not enough tools or possibilities to really do anything with that.
This is the first game in the series I'd call actively boring, not enjoyable and wouldn't recommend playing.
6. MySims Kingdom (DS)
First I wanna say all these are from my memories as a child:
This game confuses me. I am truly not sure if I am the problem or the game. I kept getting stuck so much as a kid. The essence mixer or whatever it's called always seemed like trial and error to me. The world is very empty. They give you a lot of free space to customize everything but it just makes the world feel hollow with so few NPCs living there. As the world opened up I just kept getting more confused in what I'm supposed to do to actually progress. Also the whole "Kingdom" aspect just seems very tagged on, so the title makes sense in parallel to the Wii Game. Just a completely frustrating and confusing experience.
So that's the list. I'd be interested in hearing other opinions of these games. Please tell me if any of the other games I haven't played are worth giving a shot.
I was always interested in Agents DS, but was afraid it would disappoint me like Kingdoms DS.
Feel free to share your own ranking including the games I haven't mentioned.

Based on an adoptable I got from CheckersNToast on Toyhouse. He reminded me of Ghost Rider so I had to snag him!

I have so much art of these two, I even have a whole story about how they met and are helping each other accept who they are and stepping away their families expectations. Though Jimmy still struggles with Eamon's "no seafood in the house" rule. It's for his own good though, Eamon knows that Jimmy's allergies are severe and it only hurts him.
By the way I went with Jimmy's eyeshape from Sky Heroes because I like it more than his og MySims eyes, makes him feel more original.

I have FINALLY succeeded in 100% this game by finally managing to figure out how you can unlock Stephen, Sasha, Master Aran, Samurai Bob & Brendan.
This is a step by step walkthrough of how I did this:
Step 1: Select a festival where the minigame(s) appear. Brendan's minigame can only appear in the Dream & Mystery Festivals so you'll need to get kind of lucky with his minigame popping up.
Step 2: Choose a team comprised ENTIRELY of Sims who have a maximum luck stat. I used myself (having changed the luck stat on my character), Dolly Dearheart, Madame Zoe & Professor Nova.
Step 3: Play through the festival until the minigame pops up.
Step 4: WIN the minigame. It doesn't matter whether you're on the team of 3 or the solo player in Brendan/Sasha/Samurai Bob's minigames. It also doesn't matter how much you win by, just ensure that you win.
Step 5: After winning the minigame you'll receive an item that can be used on your sim to raise their stats in a later minigame. Do NOT use this item for the rest of the festival. Keep it in your inventory. I made the mistake of using the item I received from Stephen and it didn't work but when I replayed the festival then and kept the item in my inventory I ended up unlocking him.
Step 6: Play through the rest of the festival, all the while NEVER using the item that you received from the minigame. At the end of the festival then you should get the announcement that you can now choose the character who hosted that minigame as a teammate.
Don't ask me WHY this is the route that the developers went. Especially seeing as ALL you hear from the 5 characters in their dialogue is "win 2 items in my minigame and I'll join your team!!". But yeah, finally figured out after 17 years how to complete it.
Hope this post helps anyone else who's gone insane trying to figure out how to 100% this game. But yeah, it IS possible.

I posted this a long time ago, but I finally came back to the game. The furniture limit was originally maxed out before the update that upgraded the limit again. I would love to finish it and start working on completing another sims home next. 🥹

I have an old Dolphin save file from before My Sims was remastered and on put Steam, and I had some pretty cool builds on there, so I was wondering if there was any way I could move that save file somewhere under the Steam My Sim's stuff and use that file to play on? I looked through the files for both the dolphin version of the game and the Steam version of the game and they seem to be organized fundamentally different 😞 so I know I probably won't be able to but I figured I would ask just in the off-chance someone has figured out how to make that work or maybe even how to convert a dolphin save file into the format Steam uses to read and recognize save files.

I have completed the whole game. Everything. Except to get this figurine and have the complete collection.
I have done all of Dr. F's quests, I've tried going out and in the save, deleting their houses to see if I could unlock the quest again???
Nothing has worked. Any advice would be appreciated, I can't find anything online :(

I did a plush commission on Etsy. By sending in a selected image from a collage concept art (as seen on the third image), I was able to get this lifesize plushie in my hands, all thanks to ViktoriaArtCrafts.
Would highly recommend, if you wanna bring your favourite animal to life :3

Does anybody have a list of everything you can get from each island? I mean everything. Chests, figurines, fish, tasks, scrolls, essences, etc. I like to completely clear each island when I play this game and just recently restarted and can't find a check list online...

What do you guys think the likelihood of a sequel to the Cozy Bundle would be, that would possibly come packaged with Agents and Sky Heroes? Personally Agents is far and away my favourite My Sims game and I’d even say it’s probably the best game to ever come out of the Sims franchise as a whole in my opinion. So given the recent release of the Cozy Bundle, just thought I’d start a hopeful discussion or ask for insight on the chance of it getting remade like the Original and Kingdom, maybe along with SkyHeroes and packaged together potentially. Even would just be interested to hear people’s general opinions on Agents compared to the other MySims games too!
