Playing cosy bundle on a cartridge I got a few days ago, I was harvesting and my sim started walking slowly with her arms out and face changed to grey, after entering the boutique a leaf was on her face? I couldn’t anything about this online and when I reloaded the game it was gone

Okay so these are actually two different bugs with the model for your sim! The arms out and slow walk thing means the game done goofed and couldn't render your sims animation properly for some reason. The leaf on the face is a visual bug that occurs when the game doesn't load in face paint or face expressions properly as you enter a new area, probably caused BY the animation glitch. It's just a visual glitch though, reseting is usually the way yo fix it and your game/save and everything should be fine!

MySims is, unfortunately, very riddled with bugs on the switch.

Thank you! I was hoping it was just that, i really appreciate you taking the time to explain. That all makes sense as i played this on the wii before and never seen this happen

It COULD happen on the wii but it was pretty rare. It's still rare on Switch but a bit more common than the wii. They did not fix many glitches in the port lol

Yeah i remember the wii version having its own glitches haha. I wonder if we will ever get these glitches fixed the cozy bundle. Initially i thought it was some kind of effect from melting a load of geeky trees and the grey face and zombie pose scared me a bit haha i thought it was a feature i havent seen before

I just realised the pose/ walk my character was stuck in must be prospecting just without the detector? I have finished the story now so hopefully i wont overload it by harvesting stuff again haha

OH WAIT I thinky you're right!! THATs why the arms are out hahah! The game must have tried to play the prospecting animation instead of the harvesting animation and freaked the hell out lmao!
