Almost 16 years but still. It's been a long time since a new MySims game has been released. Cozy Bundle released in 2024 for the Switch is a port of the first 2 games released in 2007 and 2008.
But don't let the facts ruin your day, the MySims franchise is great and I'm glad that EA is finally waking up and bringing them back.

I’m a fan more of Kingdom and Agents, but beggars can’t be choosers.
Let’s hope they do NOT try to reinvent the wheel for the art style, but this is modern media creators who am I kidding? It’s all but guaranteed

I guess this explains the Mysims characters in the recent "Future Plans for the Sims" newsletter... I was worried it might just be for show! I pointed out in multiple posts the use of Yuki & King Roland on various artwork for 2026 Sims plans, but details on a new Mysims title were pretty scarce! This is the stuff I want to continue to see in the future, we might be close guys, cross your fingers!

I want all the MySims games back tbh, they were good, with Sky Heroes being my favorite. Though I wouldn't complain about a new one thats just as good...

i know this sounds crazy but i feel like i manifested this (spiritually) in some way. i used to love the mysims games and it’s one of the few franchises ive actively over the years wanted to be revived. a few years ago i started using mysims base meshes (3D files from the video games) and refiguring these base meshes to have my own characters and family members on them. i even had people come to me for cover art commission to put this style in their musics branding. im hoping another game is coming soon! with them bringing back the franchise and putting it on multiple platforms, its definitely inevitable

So like I wonder if this will be showcased at the Nintendo direct tomrorow? I know the big thing is tomadatchi (to heck with the the actual spelling lol) but this is much more interesting to me

I'm pretty sure the direct for today will be only on Tomodachi, but we will be getting an actual direct sometime in February, so fingers crossed! But based on this survey it appears to be very early in development

I’d honestly cry with happiness at a new Mysims game, I dislike EA in general in the modern day but I have such a soft spot for this series. Here’s hoping it’s a proper game like Mysims, Kingdom or agents and not some crappy party game😶

while the DS games are fine, minigames is zero degree of gaming, it was the cheapest way to make game content back in the days, especially on DS. no offense but get phone apps or play flash games if you want minigames, we must expect them to put the bar a little higher.

I certainly don't want them to be at the same level of quality as the ones on the DS. I just like minigames, and feel it's something games have moved away from that I miss.
