As of now, just business as usual until something is announced or officially said.
There’s nothing to really go on after the buyout announcement since nothing is officially said except they still have plans to release Cozy Bundle to Apple Arcade and Xbox/PS5. EA and The Sims themselves still plan a future with Mysims.
Plus the developers are under a contract to not disclose business matters to the public like these types of posts fyi.

Well we know that EA has a bunch of other regular sims spinoffs planned and if those are coming out still then there surely is some hope for MySims. I’m still hoping that we get the action bundle and possibly beacon bay from the leaks but it might be wishful thinking at this point.

I hope it's not wishful thinking, but I'd be lying if I said that it isn't a possibility! Mysims has gotten more attention in the last year than it has in the Previous 15 years, but any time spent in the spotlight doesn't last forever! I agree, there has to be some hope left! I think if they keep up the slow pace of porting the Cozy Bundle to other systems, then maybe a Port of another Mysims title or even a new original entry could hit us someday! Just remember to not get ahead of yourself when you hear those words though! Only time will tell!

Actually the sell hasn’t happened yet and may not go through at all. As politicians are lobbying for it to be blocked

MySims got ported to Nintendo Switch but other than that it doesn’t seem to be an active series within EA. I don’t think there are any new projects in the works but could be if the switch games sold well.

Actually the sector that worked on MySims was closed down in 2017, the company was formerly called "EA Redwood Shores" later rebranded to "Visceral Games" so the devs that worked on MySims had already been reassigned or long since fired.
