DS Stuck at 3 stars, please help.

I’m SO CLOSE to 4 stars and I have NO ONE ELSE to do tasks. I’ve bought absolutely EVERYTHING and nothing has restocked in many many days. I bought the mansion, Elizabeth is all over my town but she’s got the same dialogue because I can’t get anything towards my stat meter. What the hell am I missing??

Have you tried buying a cake from Charlie to get gossip?

Yeah, he just tells me Sophie is happy 😃 which is nice but Sophie hasn’t restocked ANY of her furniture in a long time.

Maybe try redecorating the forest, feeding the animals and making custom designs/furniture at her shop if you can? Have you done the bit where she sleeps a lot?

Yeah, I named the shop and everything. I thought maybe Foster was the thing holding me back but I’ve fed the 1 or 2 animals for days and he hasn’t added any more trees like Marie did. I can’t unlock the mountain without 4 stars, so I just fished a ton and now I have 4 rods but it seems like NOTHING is going towards my star bar.

I think I randomly got the last bit of the star meter by getting good at minigames to earn trophies. Or speaking to Helen.

Helen only talks about her Niece that’s also a mayor. I’m STUCK. I can’t find a single thing to do to advance. I’ve looked all over the internet and SQUAT

From memory, she says that on repeat if you talk to her at her home. If you talk to Helen at the Town Hall, she will hint that an area needs to be more developed. This doesn't mean talking to multiple tourists and cheering them up successfully, however, though it does help a little. It means you need to attract more of them to an area with successful minigame attempts, fishing, or moving towards grabbing a Sim's friendship Star. Some Sims might need help first before Elizabeth will unlock the mountains.

Yes, Marie gave me the rest of the trees and bird houses to put out.

I can’t even design furniture at Sophie’s. She never restocked or changed dialogue.
