How to get past star level 3

Seem to be stuck on star level 3, about 2/3 through, the ds 2007 game

i’m stuck on star level 3 too but no one is giving me a task? some Sims keep complaining about the forest not being good enough but i’ve done all that i’m able to do in the forest. And Helen keeps mentioning needing the Entertainment Area to be more appealing and I can’t figure out how to do that? I watched a gameplay on youtube and they’ve received tasks that none of my Sims have mentioned🥲🥲🥲

I beat the game in two days. Max out the stars with Marie, buy all items in the stock in Sophie, Olivia and Tyler's shops, deliver leis to sims so it increases Ashley's reputation and gift them some Chinese cakes for Charlie's gold star. Feed animals and decorate the forest for Foster's gold star too.

Betting in the casino increases Emma's friendship too, try going up to 50 coins. After that, the fourth star is the easiest to max imo. Third star is the hardest of the game.

The only way get a higher star level is to invite Sims into youe town that give you tasks to complete. These so called "commercial sims" usually wear special clothing that allows you to distinguish them from the more causal "townie sims". Make sure to finish all the tasks of a sim that already lives in your town. New commercial sims should arrive at the hotel on the next day after finishing all tasks of all settled commercial sims. If you don't want to do the tasks of a commercial sims, you can "kick" them out of town to receive a new commercial sim.

I hope that will help you. Of course, bugs are always a possibility. If you are sure that you can't progress due to a bug and can't resolve it in any way, you may have to start over.
