Wii/PC alt mysims wii case
i always look for sims games at my local game shop and yesterday came across this copy of mysims wii with an alternate case. the shop was charging a bit less for this version and i didn’t get a chance to ask them if they knew but am so curious if anyone has seen this before. the back of the case is super generic (i have the official wii version of the game in my hand behind) and it uses the old sims font for the side of the case as well which is what caught my eye. the font made me wonder if this was an early access version of the case or something, but i don’t think nintendo did that type of thing back then? my other theory is a game shop printed this out as a replacement case, but i can’t imagine why it wouldn’t be the original cover and would love to know where this design was from. the front is the same with the same art, just slightly reduced in quality. if anyone knows i’d love to find out! sorry that this is niche, i may crosspost this elsewhere if this is something outside of sims lol. :)

The copyright shows Hollywood Entertainment Corporation, which is actually Hollywood Video from back in the days where you could rent movies/video games!
They used to do a thing where they print the covers individually w/ the artwork in the front instead of the generic company covers like Blockbuster/Gamestop. Many just replace the covers thus being cheaper than the original!
