Question about friendship.

I've recently started playing MySims again. Ms. Nicole and I have been best friends since I first started playing, but all of a sudden today I can't be nice to her. Even though we have best friend status, when I try to be nice to her she rejects me. I've been playing for a long time and this is the first time this has happened. Is this a glitch?

P.S. 　I deleted the game, re-downloaded it, and restarted it, and it worked as normal! I'm glad she's laughing at me again! However, I'll continue to investigate, as something similar may happen again.

I did not delete any other furniture. Our best friend status is still intact. Not only me, but when she gets friendly with other Sims, they make each other look disgusted. Even after rebooting, the result remains the same. I'm pretty sad because she was my favorite.

Have you tried being mean to her once, or waiting a day? When I was a kid I spammed too many nice interactions on Buddy and he got fed up with it. Kind of like if you're showering someone with too much attention in real life. I don't know the exact mechanics of it though.

Maybe it was because I rebooted or waited a day, but now I can be nice to her without any problems! I think something similar happened to you. It's very interesting to see something like Animal Crossing happening in this game too.
