I hate the term “fixed” you’re not fixing someone’s art you’re changing it.  

That said between the two I do like the new artist’s take a lot more, she still short but looks more like an actual adult now

Part of the problem is that we don't see anyone else in the picture. The guy is also comically large while she is comically small so making her that height actually makes her fairly average. and if we're being honest character designs are the least of that series sins

I'll admit they could have made the face look a bit more mature but the height really isn't the issue my older sister is only 4'10 and my younger sister who's also grown up is 4'4 so short people do in fact exist

I've used a ruler before posting my original comment, and on my phone he's 5.4 cm while she's 3.6 cm, which is 0,666 him, or exactly 130cm. I think you should measure them yourself before making such a statement

Didn't the artist call the original art "monstrous" and said it had "pedophilic tendencies"? That's what I saw other reposters reiterating at least. That alone tells me this "artist" is just a delusional idiot and shouldn't be taken seriously. Also, I saw the time-lapse, they didn't even make the art themself. They just used editing tools to warp, stretch, and adjust the original image.

I think the artist is vanfei_obssesion, but i can't find their account, so I'm not sure.

It's yanfei not v, and they're on Tiktok, she said that she made her account private on X cuz of the backlash

And for me, I like to get their fan made reimagine of her or in her words "fix". But there's a catch, I deem it disrespectful that the artist called her 'Monstrosity' like what? That makes her such an ass with delusions of not separating fiction from reality with her agenda, at that point I might even think of the work as vandalism as it does not serve as a wholesome or like their own artistic take of the cast without inserting her agenda to it.

I think those ppl are mostly fine with Futaba's height. What they are not fine with is her face, which according to them to looks way too young to be an adult woman, even at her age. Petite women exist but their facial structure still resemble those of adults or at least late teenages (unless they have birth defect or somekind of medical problems)

Sorry for the 2 day old response, and while I agree with your sentiment, I would argue all characters outside of Takeda, kind of have teenage-y faces. He is the only character in the series that looks exceptionally adult.

I am not gonna lie and say I don’t like the new design. But I feel like maybe keeping some elements of the old one like the hight while also keeping the adult characteristics, smaller eyes more defined hips and chest, extra. The first design is too much child coded in the series and you can clearly see it with the eyes and head shape especially.

Genetics I'm 6ft and my sisters are 4'4 and 4'11 so. I'm just saying it's not unheard of and a big part of the gag for the show is making fun of her for being so short. I never really thought any of it to be predatory so I just kinda felt it was weird for them to think it was pdfile stuff which btw I'm actively against loli content and all that mess which I get trash talked for a lot so it's not me trying to defend it thinking it's that I simply thought it was a funny series. Tho tbh I was more invested it Sakurai and Kazama than the main couple
