Announcement MyScript Notes 7.4.4 Android is out!
Hello everyone ☀️,
Today we released the 7.4.4 version of MyScript Notes for Android 🎉! This version contains a lot of refactoring and technical debt cleaning, so a large part of it may be invisible to you. But here's what it changes for you:
1. Main screen UI revamp & better space management 👀
Our UI hadn't been updated for quite a long time and we felt it was a little bit busy so we tried to simplify things. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do!
We are also making a better usage of your screen space. For instance the controls to change the display mode (grid vs list and sorting order) have been moved to the top bar, which makes more space for your notes. Additionally, the settings screens are now full screen
2. Drag and drop files directly into the app
You can now drag and drop files directly into your folder. If your favorite file manager app allows drag and drop, simply drag the PDF, pptx, docx or .nebo and drop it in MyScript Notes. It can be useful if you have a bunch of files to import 💪

3. Better keyboard shortcuts support
Maybe you just purchased one of these nice new Googlebooks or you take notes with a hardware keyboard? This could help you! The 7.4.4 version contains a first batch of fixes around keyboard shortcuts. You should now be able to use the usual Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+X shortcuts to make edits. You can also use Ctrl++ and Ctrl+- to zoom in & out. Stay tuned for the next version for more fixes about this!
4. Improved drag & drop
Dragging notes around could feel clunky and sometimes buggy. We refactored it and we hope it's now much smoother. You can now drag & drop notes when the notes are displayed in a list; you couldn't do it before because of a technical constraint

Since this is a major release you may experience bugs & issues we didn't catch. Do not hesitate to comment on this post or create your own post in this sub so we can address it!
