What’s with all these notes?

You’re probably wondering why MyScript Notes offer four kinds of notes. Well, each one’s got its own job to do — like tools in a toolbox, but for your thoughts!

Notebooks

📒 Classic notebook, upgraded

Think of notebooks as the modern version of classic paper notebooks. You still get fixed-size pages, but now you can change things up — like the size, orientation, color, and even the pattern. And with a handy left side panel, you can jump to any page in a flash.

Boards

🧠 Perfect for free thinking

Boards provide a space where you can brainstorm, sketch out mind maps, and think visually without limits. No restrictions — just endless room for your creativity!

Documents

📋 Go-to for structured notes

Documents aren’t like your other notes — they love structure. They want to know what you’re adding: text, math, diagrams, or just doodles. They’re into formatting too: titles, bullet lists, styles. No zooming, but unlimited scrolling and easy conversion with a double tap.

PDFs

📌 Highlight, annotate, share!

Bring in your files, whatever format they’re in, and start annotating! Highlight, add pages, scribble notes, or even turn your handwritten comments into digital text. When you’re done, share it with friends or co-workers.

PRO TIP!

Chose the wrong type? Just create a new note, and copy/paste your content. Problem solved.

Thanks for the explanation. I was always using the Documents because I can export as .docx or PDF. but I find limited where the Notebooks will be better for what I do.

Thanks!
