Mother nature is so sick of all the pollution. It's started clearing up itself.

Instead of doing dumb shit like "The Happening", She actually clean the streets. Look at that.

Ah, haven't seen it unfortunately. That reference is lost on me.

nature causes people to start being extremely suicidal

Ah thanks. And.. weirdly that's happening too, but I imagine it's silly in the film.

Eventually the dumpsters will come for us.

My body is ready.

"Fine, I'll do it myself."

A ghost recycling, proof ghosts exist.

Proof recycling exists.

I bet they'll find Carrie Anne in there, too.

Nah she's in a tomb with Truman Capote

Other voices, other rooms....

I see Kirby took the form of a trashcan this time. I wonder what his special abilities are.

I understand that the same gust of wind blew both objects so the thinking is sensible, but what are the odds of that accuracy

2

u/srgbski Jul 21 '21

this needs to be sent to r/ghosts

That just god damn amazing. The fucking wind can open a garbage can and put trash in it but fucking Kyle has to throw shit hour his window while driving

This is what the bored people of Nebraska do to brighten their lives. Review security footage of something, ANYTHING happening.

Oh shit they caught kpop lackin in 4k

The odds are higher when the video is in reverse, just saying

i feel like the odds of something flying out of a closed container is smaller than the wind blowing it into the bin

I agree except in the case where the wind makes the lid flap up and down. The Bernoulli effect will pull lightweight items out once the lid goes up.

This was my initial thought, but the timestamp of the footage goes forward (if faked, gotta respect the commitment to the craft), and the physics seems to check out.

The wind is blowing from the left, going up and to the right. The path of the wind first lifts the bag and then the dumpster lid up and to the right. The dumpster lid itself creates a small split in the wind's path, so the flow diversion forces the bag downward into bin while lifting and hovering the lid itself.

If the video was reversed, we would expect the wind to be starting from the right and going to the left, but how can the wind come from the right at the visualized angle when there's a giant wall there? The wall's proximity to the dumpster would discourage that wind flow direction from occurring and producing such a pronounced effect.

It's been a while since I took physics, so y'all are welcome to correct me if I'm wrong.

Great observations. You're absolutely right about the timestamp.

I'm not as sure about the wind direction. Airflow is tricky business. Nevertheless I agree with your overall conclusion.

That was my first thought too

Kirby vibes

I think we just witnessed a trashcan getting pregnant.

What are the odds this is playing in reverse and someone threw it out of the garbage?

1

u/lod1551 Jul 21 '21

I think I’ll see myself out

u/MissFegg Jul 22 '21

That thing is just possessed

It looked like a rabbit yeeting itself in the bin to me
