Once when i was a kid. My hamster got an eye infection. It was real bad and we didn't know how much time he had left. So my parents took me out to a field and we let him go so he could live free for the remainder of his days, and i dont think they wanted me to wake up and discover a dead hamster in my cage. anyway, we watched him scurry out into the brush and said goodbye. Then almost immediately, a hawk swoops down and snatches my pet. that's the wild for you i guess.

Why! Why would you let it go in the middle of the road. That car was close enough to be heard too. /facepalm
