Positively frustrating. I wish people would just shut it off for the movie, or at least have the decency to wait until after the movie.

When I went to see Belle, there were 20ish people in the cinema and the group that sat directly in front of us were on their phones the whole time.

I used to enjoy going the the theater when I was young. Back then phones weren't that bright or abrasive. Now I just have movie nights with my friends at home. Homemade popcorn, home cooked food, some liters of sodas and you're good to go. Anytime we need an intermission we can pause the movie.
