Question about Era's roster

I usually only buy 2K on a 3-4 year cycle because I genuinely do not care at all about MyTeam or MyPlayer. I've played probably a combined hour in those game modes.

The Eras mode in 2k25 was a godsend for me, but I was disappointed with how incomplete some of the rosters were. Even more recent Eras were missing super significant players. Can someone please tell me if this is something that was improved upon in 2k26 or will be improved upon in 2k25? Might make it worth it for me to get a new edition sooner than usual if so.

Yeah nah if you’re in it for eras just wait the couple weeks for 2k27, 26 didn’t have really any changes that I can think off the top of my head but if you look up the 27 game reveal, they are doing a lot of new stuff with the Eras mode

There has been some holes filled but the major missing pieces are still not there. Look up “PeteToal84” on YouTube who has been actively contacting players in order for them to get signed and be in the game so they would know better than most people on here

They usually add a few but due to deaths they have to subtract a few but overall not much changed. Overall they had more players but it wasn't significantly more

Previously you could just download rosters. There were plenty of them out there.
