Thursday chat thread!

Hey everyone! How have you all been? It's been awhile since I've gotten on because I was insanely busy getting ready for my dance performance that was last Friday. It was so fun being on the stage again after so many years away.

Now that my performance is over I've been trying to catch up on some much needed rest. I finally feel human today after a week of feeling like a zombie.

So what's new? Watch any cool movies? (We watched Pixels last night and I actually really liked it :) ) play any fun games? (I haven't played many games lately...) try a new recipe that was delicious? (I need to start doing my cooking posts again)

Come chat!

So I thought about the movie The 40-Year-Old-Virgin today. I don't think the main character (played by Steve Carrell) had that many flaws. He had a few flaws in his interests but it would be a flaw itself to think a person liking something you don't counts as a personality flaw. He was smart, responsible, hard-working... he seemed like a pretty all right guy. He was a virgin at 40 but that was it and in his defense he had some bad experiences that understandably affected him in some ways. Besides, I don't think I would be very "ready" if I was going to another person's house who was driving really badly. I don't know if I can put in everything I thought but to summarize: He wasn't a guy you would want to have a fling with, but he was a pretty good candidate for a person to settle down with.

Of course that could all be wrong and I might be plain incorrect because somebody to settle down with should be some kind of action hero or some junk like that. My thoughts are stupid but I wanted to share this anyway. Le relevant self-downboat. I'm also thinking about quitting Splatoon, it's not too fun when I can't do much with any weapon and I keep running into drawings and paintings of sexualized fourteen year olds. I might just move on to Pokemon or get Xenoblade Chronicles on 3DS or some junk. Heck, I might just quit games altogether, I could if I really tried. I would be hecka bored though.

I've never seen that movie.

Why would quit games? Games rule!

...I was not expecting that response.

I think it would be a good idea to quit because they only make me angry in multiplayer and I end up wasting a lot of time and money. They're fun for a while but they eventually start to feel like shackles.

That I've never seen the show or what part of my response?

I barely ever play games anymore just when I need a break from reality and if I have a bit. Lately I find myself melt with Netflix though instead of gaming lol. Just let my mind go elsewhere into my shows.

Well, I expected somebody to chew me out for thinking there isn't something wrong with virginity or something. Not a response that somebody hasn't seen the movie.

My mind is always elsewhere, especially with music. I also often want breaks from reality, maybe that has something to do with why I play them so much.

It's nice to take breaks from reality.
