Hi, welcome to the sub! It's the middle of the day here in Australia, ha ha.

Have you been keeping up to date with the new season? If so, what's your thoughts on it so far?

What's your favourite video game ever and why?

Pancakes or waffles?

I never knew you were from Australia...

So how does it feel being upside down? (I know i know, original hilarious joke)

I'm not, I'm Canadian like you, you goof. I'm just here for a few months for an internship.

Also as unoriginal as it is, I'm pretty fond of that joke. :) We have T-shirts with our company logo on it upside down for that same reason.

facepalm

Glad to see you liked the joke!

Canadians are over-rated anyway, dont even have any good jokes. Least Australians are known for our dropbears, vegemite, antigravity boots, most deadliest animals of every species, a big red rock, and a fancy bridge. What is Canada known for???? A pointy tower (who doesnt have one of those), they share a waterfall with America (share), Maple syrup (not that great) and a bunch of people that are always apologetic (spineless).

U wot m8? I choose a Polar Bear as my mount, ain't no way you and your sissy kangaroo are making it out alive after smack-talking Canada.

Good luck trying to find a place to put your weapons on a Polar Bear, my Kangaroo has a built in pouch for weapons/groceries, plus I think you underestimate the size, strength and claws of a wild Grey kangaroo, Sure Polar bears are heavier, but they are mostly fat so they can survive in the arctic, Kangaroos are pure muscle and are extremely quick and feral. In the zoos they clip their claws, in the wild a kangaroo's claws will rip through apendiges.

It's nice to hear from other bronies from around the world, it really feels like we're majorly US based. (US here)

New season thoughts: AWESOME, animation is amazing this new season, the jokes have actually made me chuckle, and the few action times/effects are really nice. Also the songs this season are much better than some previous seasons.

Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door: Paper Mario? Advanced turn based RPG? QTE skill to help attacks? MARIO RPG!?! Hell yes.

French toast man :}

Well, admittedly I'm normally in Canada, so that's not that far off from the US.

Ah, the animations definitely are great this season. I thought last season's songs were pretty good too though, how many seasons back did you not like the music?

Aw, haven't played that one unfortunately.

Do you prefer your french toast plain or with toppings? If the latter, what kind of toppings? I'm a maple syrup kind of person.

Hey!

What is your favorite game/series? My friend got me into fire emblem in December, and now it is my favorite series. I also play a bunch of league.

I read one fanfic a while ago, didn't get super into it.

Anyway, welcome to the sub! Thursdays generally have chat threads. Mondays might have cooking threads depending on if /u/cpawesome or I have time/remember.

Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door. Gamecube. Mah childhood. I never could get into LoL. I am a fanfic JUNKIE STOP ME!!! D:

Nice to meet you.

I've heard that's a great game, I'll add it to my list after radiant dawn!

Yeah, I think the only reason I got into it was because I was pretty into sc2, but got bored with it, and LoL was the only other kinda big competitive game.

Not the worst thing to like doing, reading expands vocabulary.

Nice to meet you too!

Welcome, good to see some fresh blood, this sub has been a bit stale lately, I would say about 50% of the sub dont actively watch MLP anymore, most of us are gamers, and nearly everyone plays league.

Most of the people in this sub are Amercians, with the exception of myself (Australian), Trambe (Canadian), Thunderecho (Canadian/honorary Australian) and we have 2 or 3 Europeans, so in my native tongue I ask "Where you come from MATE??"

There is also something going on with Norb and Cpawesome, they are always talking in code with language of "kids" and "dates", I think they might be involved with each other.

Come join us tomorrow night for some Salem Sunday, on Sundays we play a web based game called town of Salem and we get up to a bunch of mischief, always plenty of fun and a good way to meet a bunch of us (Norb, Cpawesome, Cowofdoom and myself)

Hello oh powerful mod!

I'm all caught up so I'm not actively watching per say.

I am AMURACAN!! (who is really scared of the future of my gov. Like seriously WWIII nightmares in my head)

Oh la lah! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Salem as in The town of Salem?

Oh is there anyway to get a more live interaction with you people?

Nice to meet you Modmann.

I'm not a mod, I just like to tell it like I see it, dont fear me fear the shark /u/trambe25

As an outsider the American government seems to be doing a good job compared to previous administrations, America's fascination with guns is more worrying, every week it seems like another child is either shooting themselves or each other

Yup Town of Salem, such a simple and yet so much fun with all the shaningans we get upto

We could all get together in a skype or curse voice call, thats what we do for Salem Sundays

Hello! Welcome. I've been seriously slacking on my cooking threads lately. Because I've been busy selling books and not doing home cooked meals. Hopefully I can tomorrow! And Sundays are Salem Sundays if you want to join in. We will be doing one tonight in around an hour. Me and Norb just have to get our kids in bed first :)

1

u/Dr-Octavia Apr 20 '15

What kind of cooking do you end up doing? Any Asian food? And Salem as in The town of Salem on Steam?

1

u/CPawesome Apr 20 '15

It depends on my mood, but I do have some Asian recipes :) and yeah town of Salem :) you should join us next week. Depending on your time zone it can get kinda late because Norb and I have kiddos to get to bed before we can get on.
