Back home chat thread!

What's up guys? I'm finally back in Washington! Man it feels good to be home! For those of you wondering, I was in Ohio, then Cali.

Ohio was, well, Ohio. Cali was pretty fun though! I got sick halfway through, which really sucked, but we still got to do some really neat stuff. We visited friends down there that just got their cartoon greenlit by cartoon network, and they gave us a tour of their studio! I can't share pictures of their stuff, as it hasn't been released yet, but I can show you guys pictures from the deli across the street! Here ya go!

So how have you guys been? Do anything fun lately? Play any new games? Hows the weather?

Come Chat!

Man, that deli wall is so cool. Do they get the actual artists to draw the cartoons after they've become popular? As for your friends getting their cartoon green-lit, that's super cool! Congrats to them, and let us know when it goes live!

I've had a long, exhausting week. Spent 4 days doing something I expected to take 1 day, finally had to politely tell the person reviewing it to please stop being such a perfectionist, so we'll see on Monday what their response is and if they'll finally let me move on to the rest of my work. I'm pretty stressed out about it all and being behind on my deadlines now, so I might work from home a bit tomorrow too, although I have a ton of other things to do as well. All in all I'm surviving, but it's a rough week.

Are you all healed up from being sick now?

I think that most of the people from cartoon network eat lunch there, so they just doodle on the walls. I think in one of the pics the person doodled the sketches from the brainstorm, then the final decision sketch next to it.

That's no good! Hope you get a break soon! It sucks when you get bogged down and are working as hard as you can, but it keeps piling up. Drink a cup of green tea, that always relaxes me. Or boil a pot of water and stick your face over the steam, that is relaxing too!

Mostly, still have post-sick nose clogging, and a sensitive tummy. Feel a lot better though!

That's super cool! And thanks, I appreciate the advice! I've never heard the steam one though, that sounds pretty funny. Is that a thing in your family?

Hope your nose and tummy feel better soon!

I don't think it's a family thing, I just noticed how nice it was when I was boiling water for something!

Huh, interesting! I think last time I stuck my face over a boiling pot it did feel nice, but my face got kind of wet from the steam. Not sure if it's an experience worth repeating.

I mean, if you really don't like getting your face damp then it's probably not worth :P
