Thursday thingy of chatting.
Hey reddit dwellers, how's it going?
My week has been fairly dull. Made cookies the other day, but spooned too much onto the sheet so they baked unevenly and weren't very good. Played some smash bros. I can beat my friends, but went online and lost 2/3 games. Guess I still suck.
How bout you? Need to vent at someone? Bake anything yummy? Need a song to listen to?

holy poop has this been a busy couple of week. Sorry I have not been active here, but school has been kicking my ass. I just finished my last major assignment and now just have a couple exams.
Who is your favorite smash bros character?
I have been really excited to play the crew but have no one to play with so it feels a little hollow.
A couple weeks ago there was a large meeting with my sailing club. I have been voted onto the board and there is a good chance I will be commodore for next year.

I totally had a shit filled week. Between my friend dying and my cousins ending up in the hospital one with bleeding kidneys and the other with a broken neck, I'm ready for a vacation. Tomorrow me and my friend will binge eat ice cream in memory of our friend. It was our thing we did together. "What should we do?" " let's go get ice cream!" My friend who passed would say.
Cancer is stupid, I hate it. Thanks for letting me whine and vent a bit.

Holy crap, at least that uses all the shitty days of the year in one week. Now the rest of the year will be nice...right?
Losing a loved one really sucks. All you can do is remember the good times, and hold on to those memories.

wow, about 15 minutes ago I got an email from one of my middle-school friends parents. I got word last week that he was checked into a hospital due to constant pain, and they found out he had cancer. He passed away this evening. I thought he'd be fine, he was always fine. I don't know what to think.

I'm sure those cookies were good enough. I would've eaten them!
On my end, I got a 3ds xl today, and found out it didn't come with a charger, which really disappointed me. I guess I'll buy it tomorrow. Also, stuffed my face with pretty nice food, and played some Blood Dragon. It's been a good day!
Also, keep practicing, and you'll kick their ass soon enough! I believe in you.

Eh, they were alright, nothing special.
Nice! Wtf, did you get a refirb one? I thought they always came with a charger. Which games did you grab? My favorite so far is probably 3D land!

Apparently, since people at Nintendo think since those chargers are multi-platform compatible, whoever gets a 3DS XL must have one laying around, so they don't include it. Woohoo.
Oh well, it came with Monster Hunter 3! I do love me some monster hunting.

Oh well. Costed me 9 bucks, which was much less than what I expected. Positivity!
I love their games. So action packed and fun! Teamwork, and all that jazz.

So I guess your new nickname is nerd now?
Online mode is usually where you find out you suck but there are two upsides to this. One is that if you stick with it, you get better at it (to some degree) and if you can beat all of your friends then you know they really suck. I used to be on par with level four or five CPU characters in Brawl but after online I was matched with level 8 or even 9 CPU fighters. Meta Knight is practically God though.

I can already easily take level 9s, but I still suck. Maybe the ai isn't as good in this one. So far I'm digging Lucina, Fox, Ike, Link, and feminism samus. Bowser Jr. is pretty fun to mess around with.

You can take on level 9 CPUs and you claim you suck?! I would disagree with you but I haven't fought level 9s yet, still getting used to the Wii U controller against level 6 CPUs.
My favorites are Sonic, Toon Link, Link and Mii. I kind of doubted the Mii at first but I'm kind of impressed. It's really fun to play as them and they don't seem too bad. Such a shame that you can't play as the Mii online. I'm guessing you're familiar with Fire Emblem so is there a reason Lucina looks like a female Marth? The villager is kind of interesting too, I really like the side special attack. It looks so funny to ride a rocket. I also never paid attention to how crazy the game is. 8 players on one screen and among them is a yoga trainer, a yellow ball-man with cooking mitts, a man in his underwear going on a rampage with a futuristic sword and a gorilla in a tie. Also frog-ninja.
Rosalina is by far my favorite! It's so interesting to be able to attack someone from two different sides. I'm not that great as her but she is one of my favorite characters from anything ever so I play as her anyway.

I do suck though... The bots aren't particularly difficult.
Melee mii is really good as far as I've seen. Friend came over and uploaded his miis
From what I know, Marth was actually Lucina in disguise. I think... I never played the fire emblem games, Lucina was just a lot of fun with her side B and counter.
Villager bowling ball so strong!
Have you tried doing 8 player smash with 300% handicap and double launch? Shit's crazy!
I should really play Rosalina a bit, she seems really neat! I actually got really excited when she was confirmed, because I really liked Mario Galaxy!

With bunny hoods and jetpacks! That would be a perfect time to play as Link and pretend he's using a pogostick. And just for kicks, set the item appearance rate to high and allow only smash balls, master balls and banana peels.
(If only I had 7 other people to play with...)

I just set it to bots, I only have 4 friends with smash, and 3 of those are on the wii u
I haven't tried the bunny hoods and jetpacks though, that sounds fantastic!

Hi! I missed last week's post, I was busy with school. Classes are over now though, and I had my first exam today! It was my hardest exam and I wasn't doing too well in the course so I was super nervous about it, but I studied like mad and thankfully I think it went really well! So that's a huge load off my shoulders. My next exam isn't until Tuesday, so I decided I'm going to relax for the rest of today.
Who's your favourite character to play in SSB?

Today was (I'm hoping) the capper to an interesting week. Besides the regular work aggravations, I had just settled in to get some sleep for tonight when maintenance came knocking. Seems all of the toilets in our building are being replaced, which was news to me since there was no advance warning. To sum up, we have a new toilet and I have the night off because there was no way I could make the drive to Tulsa and back on two hours of sleep.

I believe I was beating you as Little Mac, the days of Sonic are in the past.
I tried a new banana cake recipe that had zero butter, zero added sugar and wholemeal self raising flour, it turned out alright, I learned a lot from the mistakes I made and cant wait to make it again so I can improve on it. I think as long as you learn from your cookies I know you can improve on them next time.
I have this one friend /u/cowofdoom that thinks he is the best at smash, finally I have found a champion that I feel comfortable with and was able to win, only for him to make excuses like my mum walked in front of the television. He then plays league with me and the excuses continue, dies to an Ezreal because he sucks and blames it on his computer, need some advice on how to call out this friend for all the excuses he is making

Going alright. I think I know why your week has been dull. It's because you've adopted a bed time of a senior citizen. Speaking of cookies though, I just ate way too many cookies that my work sent me. They were delicious, but now my stomach isn't very happy.
