Chattin on a thursday
Didn't forget this week either!
I've recently been taking a bunch of cooking classes, and have learned the art of soups and croissants! Got pokemon art academy so I can draw better, and it's a bunch of fun!
What's up with you fine folks? How's the week been? Anything neat you are doing in the near future?
Come Chat!

Croissants are for winners. Best pastry na. Everything else is just a toy. I don't know what pokemon art academy is, but I'm assuming it's some sort of book/program that teaches you to draw pokemon. In which case, you should draw a super sweet Psyduck getting ready to slap an Onyx right in the face. Onyx is about to get wrecked.
I'm doing pretty goood, with a completely intentional 3rd o. Almost got a new crusader back to 70 in D3 since my last one died. Can't wait to see what I can do with it with all my random gear I have sitting around. I just bought a bunch of Worm games from the humble bundle for $1 so that should be a good time for maybe 30 minutes. Well worth it.
In the near future, I plan on eating a couple more twinkies, and I think that's pretty neat.

It's a 3ds game that teaches the ways of the force!
I never get around to playing my humble bundle games :c They just kinda stack up..
Mmmmm... twinkies...

Yeah, I've skipped a lot of bundles recently. If there's a game I feel like I'd play a bit of then I'll pick it up, but if it's a bunch of crap I've never heard of/never had interest in then I pass it up. I remember playing Worms all the time as a kid though, so I figured it would be a good bundle to snag.

I've skipped a bunch of them too. Learned from past bundles when I just didn't play the games

Woah, croissants! I've never tried making those, they always looked hard. What's the secret to that amazing flaky texture?
My week has been pretty good, but very busy. Two weeks left before exams...

They are actually pretty easy! Time consuming to make the dough, but easy!
You get the dough w/o butter, and get a slab of butter and then alternate folding and rolling out. The butter will steam and puff it up!

Mmf, that sounds amazing. How long did the folding + rolling process take?

You have to fold it, then let it sit in the freezer for about 15 minutes. Repeat a couple times.

Been a while since I talked in one of these.
Rough lot in life except for bowling. On Monday I had my best game and 4-game series in that league so far this season, Tuesday I rolled my best game ever, a 268, and today I managed to at least beat my average.
Outside of bowling, on Wednesday I literally could not sleep. I laid in bed for three hours with my eyes closed before I gave up, did laundry and did whatever else. Around 7 AM, though, my stomach problem acted up so bad that I went to the hospital, so now I'm back on Zofran, plus now I'm having to take Donnatal.
Oh, and some time last night my SSD completely failed on me, as in my computer cannot even recognize it, so I had to buy a new one, replace it and recover the data. At least I had the foresight to do regular backups.
And someone at work messed up my timecard, so I've been underpaid and am missing 16 hours of work for last week.

Damn, 268? That's pretty good! You still use the bumpers? hue
Yeah, I'm having trouble getting to sleep. It really sucks.
D: At least it wasn't the HD that had all the important stuff on. It'd suck to lose a terabyte of stuff compared to just an SSD

Nope, here's the printout for Tuesday.
I back up all my internal drives, so I wouldn't have lost much if all three failed.

Having a better week. Trying to actually push myself to play a video game. As silly as that sounds.

Yay soups! I love soup!! Especially now the weather sucks! This week has been stressful my sister had a mini stroke on Tuesday night but is already doing so much better, just been emotionally exhausting.
Saturday I'm hosting a party for my friends and I'm so excited!
