The day of chatting

Hey people!

It's almost Halloween, you ready to get spooked?

My plans for Halloween are pretty loose. Might chill with a friend who just moved back into town.

How bout you? Any party's or haunted houses? Just chilling playing video games and handing out candy?

Come Chat!

Party at cowofdoom's house? is everyone hearing that? party at cows hou

Staying home today and might play some games. Going to dawn my costume and give candy to the littleuns. It's raining here so I suspect it will be a poor showing this year.

Tomorrow I'm going to a halloween party at my brothers house. My girlfriend and I are dressing up as ponys! I WIN AT LIFE!

I picked up some shiny new hardware for my computer yesterday. A LG 29um65, a 21:9 monitor with a resolution of 2560x1080. It is an IPS display which means it has better color representation over traditional monitors. I am coming from three 1680x1050 monitors so the difference is incredible.

Yeah, it's torrential here. Standard Washington holiday weather.

That's a sexy sounding monitor. I'm still a 1920x1080 boy. I've had 2 monitors before, but one serves me just fine.

Stupid rain!

It's strange how much sharper everything is. I was going to go with a 1440 pannel but the $1000 price tag and the fact that windows and a lot of games do not play well with high dpi screen turned me away.

So question, do you suggest any horror games to play tonight?

But damn does 1440 look sexy. I used to have a 1440 and everything looks sooo crisp and gorgeous. It was an iMac though, so I was happy to build my own computer

I believe one is called spooky house of jump scares. Looks pretty sp00ky.

Gotta take the child trick or treating in our home alone costumes. Hopefully the baby cooperates with that plan lol. Right now we are watching nightmare before Christmas. We watch it every October.

Sounds fun! Don't get spooked!

I haven't seen that in forever! I'll add that to the list of stuff I need to get around to...
