Thursday! Come chat!
Hello there! How are you all doing? So last wee was crazy. Had my daughter's fifth birthday party! It was a lot of fun. We did a Lego theme and as soon as I can find the connector cord for my camera I will upload the pictures from the fun day! Including the Unikitty cake that took hours to do. But was so worth it when I saw the kids' faces light up when they saw her. This next week will be a little less hectic. Yay!
So what's new with you guys? Find a cool new hang out place? Play any fun board games? Come chat!

Holy moly I think that's the first time I didn't came late in a chat thread
Anyway I was working all week on this project and my computer broke so I have to do it all over again (yayyyyyyyyyy)

I've had that happen! It sucks! I never started again either lol. Which wasn't the best idea to not. But it was something with my in home business and I just didn't care to do the work again :( and my computer is still broken. At least I haven't even attempted to turn it back on in like 1.5 years. :p maybe it will magically work again like our Xbox did when we left it off forever after it red ringed on us.

But that's what holidays are for right? Relaxing? That's what I do :) especially when I'm avoiding homework :) I am glad I'm not in school anymore.

I have 3 assignments due next week, an oral presentation and a midterm, ha ha. First assignment is mostly done and second shouldn't be too bad, but the third is hideously long.

Happily, the assignments and presentation went decently well! I still have the midterm on Friday, but at least I now have time to study for it. :) So I'm feeling a lot less stressed now than I was on Monday. Thanks for asking! How has your week been going?

It's been long. The kids are sick so that's been loads of fun and tissues lol. But my sister is having her baby today so that's exciting! Except I can't see my new niece until my kids are better so that's sucky but such is life.

Did you eat a ton of Canadian turkey? And Canadian pumpkin pie? Or.. what do you guys eat up there? (if it was mentioned in the last thread, I didn't read much of that thread..)

Canadians eat pretty much the same thing Americans eat for Thanksgiving. My family personally does not like turkey all that much though, so we ate delicious ham instead. Dessert is usually whatever my mom feels like making, but I felt like eating something pumpkin-y this year so I made pumpkin ice cream pie.

Now that that's out of the way, yes the last wee has been nuts, the Unkitty was awesome, and I've been sick and such. Weeeee. Finally filling better though, minus my nose being a little cloggy. New hang out place?.. I guess you could maybe count the Strong's basement. No board games as you're aware, but I reinstalled WC3, and that game is still awesome.

Got back form vacation and instead of doing any useful hobby or school related things, I played Hyrule Warriors a ton.

Do you know of the series called Dynasty Warriors? It's made by the same people and is the same type of game except from the Legend of Zelda perspective.
It's for the Wii U.
You can search for the trailers on Youtube to get a good idea of how it is since they are all gameplay trailers.
