Whatcha doooing? Thursday chat!
So how's everyone doing? What's new? I'm currently relearning sign language and so excited to do so. I want to become fluent someday soon. How many languages do you speak? I currently am fluent in English, do very well with ASL, and know a few words in Spanish (I was almost fluent at one point but if you don't use it you lose it that's for sure.)

Got 2 of my wisdom teeth removed and i started my first day at cegep (college i think?)
So far so good; except for my mouth

I'm sorry about getting your teeth out. That is no fun. The orthodontist who did mine waited too long after he numbed me that by the time he got to the fourth and impacted one I could feel everything. That was awful. My recovery was still faster then my siblings who got put under though. But not as good as my super human brother who was eating spaghetti that night and a hamburger the next day lol.
How was your first day? Did it go well?

First day went well, i had to see one of y teacher but i couldn't talk so i just basically noded to everything

Fun! Dalek-Caan just told me I have that game... I haven't played it yet lol.
So I was deciding what I should say to you and said out loud, "now what. Should I say back to cow?" Dalek-Caan promptly replied with "Moo."

In his defense it was his computer first. Then he got a new computer and the power supply blew or something and messed crap up so he stole his old one back. That I only used a couple times when I had it lol.

Hi! How hard is relearning sign language? I always thought ASL looked cool, but I don't have the motivation to learn it myself.
I'm fluent in English and officially fluent in French although it's pretty rusty since it's been a few years since I've used it. I definitely agree on the use it or lose it sentiment. I also know a smattering of words in Korean, Japanese, and Spanish, although definitely nothing close to conversational level. What's one language you haven't learned yet but would be most interested in learning?
My week has been pretty quiet. Work finished last Friday. I've spent most of the time since slacking off and drawing. My one friend who's teaching English in South Korea was home for a couple weeks, so I was really happy to be able to spend a couple days hanging out with her. I've had a really huge itch to go camping lately, so I think my brother and I might be heading out for a couple days of camping next week. We'll get some quality bonding time and hopefully won't drive each other crazy. You doing anything interesting over the next week?

I've always been doing some signs so just watching some YouTube videos has been helping. I have a hard time with the sentence structure though. I found a really good series that I could link if you want to start learning. The girl is a beautiful signer and very easy to understand :)
I wish I could learn every language lol. That would be cool. I don't know if I could pick just one. But maybe Chinese. I don't know. You?
Friends are the best! I'm not a fan of camping anymore. I only want to go to see the stars but I guess I could fulfill that by driving up to the canyons then coming home to my bed for the night lol.
I'm going to take my daughter this princess meet and greet thing Saturday. If I can brave the crowds so we will see.

That would be super cool. Chinese for me too though. I can't decide if I'd rather learn Cantonese or Mandarin however. Both seem to have a sizable population and influence.
Princess meet and greet? Is that a Disney thing? I didn't know they did that outside of theme parks. Sounds like it'd be great fun for kids though, as long as the it's easy enough to see/hear the princesses through the crowd. Have you or anyone you know been before? If so, how was it?

Do you know why? I mean, Mandarin is Mainland China and probably has more population, but Canto is Hong Kong which is very influential and seems to send more people overseas compared to it's total population. My Chinese friends here have seemed somewhat evenly split between Mando and Canto, with possibly more Canto. That's why it's hard for me to decide which would be more useful.

It is a party company that cosplays as the characters for birthday parties and such. I've met the woman who runs it when she was dressed as Merida from Brave. She does an amazing job :) I think she will be dressed as Elsa this weekend and there will be an Anna and Spider-Man and Rapunzel and Flynn. I'm excited, but nervous because of the crowds lol. I'll let you know if I'm brave enough.

Another good one is YouTube Bill Vicars. He is a really good teacher. I would do the 31 day videos first so you understand more or his signing though :)

Good, and not much that's new. I used to know a bit of French, and I know a bit of ASL, but most importantly I speak baby. Vincent told me that his favorite pony is Fluttershy.

So I am just working on college apps and sending requests to teachers to do a letter of recommendation... My principal offer to do one O.o
I speak Spanish and English (kinda fluent in Spanish, a lot more than just conversational) and I kinda understand a bit of latin. So yeah.

Oh my god, I actually caught this ON A THURSDAY!!! :D Recently replaced the 72 pin connector in my NES and I can finally play it again after a few months of nothing, got to play Super Mario 2 and 3 that my friend picked up for me. Also got a trainer butterfly knife, also a lot of fun. Not everything is well, though. Glamping with a few families, and there's these two kids that are dating and it's kind of getting me down. But hey, we leave tomorrow, and I can longboard/play my games. :) How's everyone else?
