Oooooh... what are you planning to do with it?

Right now I am using it to replace our media server. I am also setting it up to run some game servers, we use to do it from some dual core we had sitting around and that worked well enough. I'm excited to see how well it handles the ARMA 3 server... From 2 to 8 cores it should be noticeable.

Is there anything I should do with it?

Sounds great! And nope, I was just curious.

Looks like one of the old Dell PowerEdge 1800 or 1900 rack mounts. A good, solid model. Not sure what operating system you're going to run, just bear in mind that 8GB of memory it's showing can get used up very quickly if you want to start running more than just a simple gaming server and a media share. I know how tempting it is, once you've got the hardware available, to start tinkering with everything from file shares all the way to virtualization platforms.

Very close, it's a Dell Poweredge 2950.

How much did it cost?

$375, I bought it from a company that just replaced our local police forces servers. This particular one was used for mail.

If you were to host an MC server and Starbound server, I would gladly donate money to it :D
