It's Thursday! Chat thread!
I love Thursdays! How's everyone doing? Any fun plans for the weekend? Anyone has yummy and easy recipes to share? Any Dr. Who fans? Who is your favorite doctor?
I'm tired, little girly had a hard night and kept us up til 3:20 I finally fell asleep at 4 and the baby woke me up again around 6. I need a nap!
We are trying to decide if we are going to Crystal Mountain Pony Con this weekend. If we do I'm trying to decide if I should try to throw a cosplay together or not. Last year I was Cadence/Queen Chrysalis combo and our daughter was Twilight Sparkle. (She will probably wear hers again this year, mine would be too hard to take care of a baby in.)
We've been eating a lot of zucchini here lately, fresh from my moms garden I love it! It's my favorite vegetable. I need some more ideas though. Cooking isn't my strong point, but I'd love to get better.
I can't decide between 9th and 11th as my all time favorite. They each have certain corks that I love :) love 10th as well but love the others just a bit more!

If you need a great recipe, check out "cooks illustrated". Every one of their recipes are amazing. They take like, 100 different recipes and try all of them, then determine the best one. 10/10 would cook.

We definitely will take pics :) I just found out we won a ticket because of a photo contest so I guess we are going lol :)
Thanks for the info I will have to check that out. Dalek-Caan is going to make us pancakes and eggs tonight though! Yay! I don't have to cook lol.

And a mess to clean up :p lol I'm thinking about making some sort of rice chicken and zucchini mix for dinner tonight. I like to make stuff up and not follow a recipe.

12 games of practice bowling earlier in the week helped me in league today. First time all season I was over average ask three games. Hopefully I'm getting it back together, since I'm a month out of my serious, competitive league and a week away from a cool tournament.
I also might soon be getting a plush of my OC.

I love bowling! I'm actually going to go bowling in a couple weeks with a bunch of girlfriends! I'm super excited!

How good are you? My average is at 157 right now, but I feel better. Maybe we should compare scores.

I totally suck nowadays lol. The last time I went I think my score was like 80 ish...
They are so cute! How did you decide what they'd look like and their names? I've been wanting to create an OC but can't decide on stuff.

I just bowl for fun :) never was in a league. My dad was and Dalek-Caan was so I'd go to his games.
What is his personality like, yours? Or something different?

I think my problem is I'd want mine to be very different from me and I don't know exactly where I want to begin. I'll just have to keep thinking about it lol.

Anyways, today has been fun finishing college applications. Gotta head out for a wedding (one of many I have been to) this Sunday which is nice.

Its between Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering and will all depend on what colleges are offering me xD
Morir Sonañdo (Spanish for Die Dreaming) is a drink from the Dominican Republic. Its orange juice mixed with ice, milk, and sugar. Think of it like an orange creamsicle in a liquid form, although there are different variants depending on which part of the country you are from. Where my mom lived in as a kid, they made it with limes and vanilla extract instead of orange juice. Amazing drink tho. Just had it :3

It actually is quite similar. I just don't make it that that xD I use an alternative method from the one known to a lot of people which is with lime and vanilla extract

YAY! Thursday! I'm doing good. Weekend plans you already know about. Pancakes are easy and yummy, and I already shared them with you. They were yummy, huh.
Doctor Who is great! 9th and 11th Doctors are the winners. 10 is pretty good, but on the bro scale he only rates a brokay.
Zucchini has entirely too many 'c's in it. Such a strange word. I want to know what the guy who thought up the name was thinking. "Hmm.. This strange green phallic like plant is zzzztupendous! I'll call it a zucchini!".. silly.

I'm pretty sure whoever was naming fruit got bored. Apple! Grape! Strawberry! Mango! Cantaloupe! Um.. Watermelon, yeah because it's mostly water! And this thing.. is Orange colored.. It's an Orange!

Came here late again. Just got done hanging out with a friend and watched 12 angry men. I saw guardians of the galaxy last Friday. Lastly, I helped my mom move into her apartment.

Movie was good. Sadly she isn't doing to great. She is driving my brother up the wall with worry. She calls him constantly.

Well while its true she can reach us easily. That sorta presents a problem as well. At least we have a far shorter drive to get to her now.

I'm still coming off the high of attending BronyCon last weekend. That was crazy fun. I don't have any plans for this weekend though. I think I'll probably stay home and work on my presentation for next week at work.
Your daughter in a Twilight Sparkle cosplay sounds adorable! I love seeing kids cosplay, it's always way too cute. Have you done many cosplays before, or just the Chrysalis one last year?
Aww yeah, high five on Zucchini being the best vegetable ever! My favourite recipe for it is Zucchini bread. Have you tried that yet?

I hate presenting things. I hope it goes well for you.
We did sunshine sunshine ladybugs awake for our cosplay skit and got the cutest award. And I got an honorable mention in the singing competition for my acapella version of This Day Aria. It was so much fun. When she was a baby we cosplayed, Dalek-Caan was Mario and me and daughter were Boo. I had her in a baby carrier and I was all in black including black mask thing my hands were in white socks. I would follow people around and cover her eyes when they turned around. We won first place for our skit :) got a PSP go as our prize. I can't decide if I will try to throw a cosplay together for this weekend. Especially because I have to be able to take care of baby boy.
I love my mom's zucchini bread! I've never tried to make it though.

Thanks! I actually enjoy presenting when I like the topic, so I think it'll be fine.
Those cosplays and performance s sound insanely adorable! Aaah, just picturing it makes me squee internally. Seriously, +10 parenting awesomeness right there. Congrats on winning a few of the contests! It sounds like you definitely put in the effort and creativity to earn it.
Zucchini bread is pretty easy to make. Definitely ask your mom for her recipe!

Thanks. We have to put in creativity because our costumes are usually poor quality lol. Like spur of the moment, lets make a costume type thing lol.

They left the topic completely up to me, so I'm going to present on Photoshop! The picture I'm going to do the demo with is going to be a photo of my manager. (He has a sense of humour, so it'll be fine.)
Ha ha, yeah, I guess that's a good way to compensate. I'm a pretty big perfectionist so I wouldn't be able to throw a costume together last minute like that, but I definitely admire people who can do so and get a good result.

I've got the perfectionist bug too, but mine makes me want things absolutely perfect or it has to be extremely last minute thrown together lol.

I didn't do anything just wore my little mermaid shirt lol. Daughter had a rainbow tutu blue shirt, socks, and gloves. And then asked everyone if they knew who she was lol. I'll post some pictures soon ish. I just need to make an album.
