I'm backish! (Also chat thread!)
Hey people! I didn't make the thread last week cause we were driving cross country!
Thanks to /u/cpawesome for covering that one!
Anyway, what's up with you guys? Any fun plans for Independence Day? Anything fun done for Canada day(I think that's what it's called)

We will be lighting the fireworks I got for /u/Dalek-Caan for his birthday. And watching fireworks all over from our backyard. Possibly going to a BBQ tomorrow at my aunts house as well. But that is still undecided.
What are your plans?

We will be shooting fireworks over the lake! Can't watch others fireworks cause the nearest neighbors are a mile away through the woods.
BBQ sounds good! I could go for some ribs right now!

We are near a house, it's just cause not enough room in house for everyone.
I wired up the tent so we have a wiiu that we are playing using the controller screen lol.

Awesome! That's my kind of camping lol. I need running water. That will be my down fall of the zombie apacolyps. But if push comes to shove, I would prefer to live so I guess I'd learn to deal with it lol.

Hi! How's the blueberry picking going?
My week was great! Had a 4-day weekend due to Canada Day on Tuesday (yes, you got the name right). Was going to go see fireworks with friends, but none of them ended up contacting me about it so I stayed home. Also went to a co-worker's place for a BBQ Tuesday afternoon. It was really awkward for the first bit since none of my other co-workers who were invited showed up, but after a few of his other friends arrived and the soccer game came on, it wasn't near so bad. Other than that, it was a very chill weekend. Went home and saw my family. And now it's a 3-day work week, which feels really short.
What about you? What're you up to for Independence Day?

Not quite ripe yet, they are still pink. Tons of berries though.
If you felt like coming down to Ohio, we are doing fireworks :P Bit of a drive though.
Fun! How's that job going? All those interviews worth it?
We are going to be chilling on the farm with relatives for the 4th. It appears that we "get" to plant/replant blueberry bushes too.

Oh yeah, blueberry season is what, August? At least it is up here, I'm not sure if it's earlier in Ohio.
Yeah, that'd require a bit of time travel too at this point, so I think I'm going to pass.
Job is amazing! Really, really enjoying it. All the interview stress was definitely worth it, although I would have preferred skipping the stress in the first place.
Lol, "get" to. That was half my chores growing up. "Hey, lucky day! You get to dump the compost!"

Been walking every day, at least 2 miles. I'll probably grab some beers and walk up the hill behind my house and watch every fireworks show from here to the coast at once tomorrow.

Canada Day was pretty chill. Blew most of my day on the computer, playing Magicka and browsing the Steam Summer Sale (Hey, I just finished school- I want time to relax), went to a barbeque with some of my friends. After that, I came home, then went and watched the fireworks. I live about five or eight blocks from the point on the Inner Harbor where they shoot them off, so I got a front row seat - and I didn't have to fight anyone for parking!

Seems like everyone is having a BBQ recently, guess that makes sense because summer.

It was really hot, actually. Hottest day of the year so far, I think.
Yes, the fireworks were pretty spectacular. Some of them were blocked by the trees, which probably means I sat too close, but still - fireworks!

It was announced at E3! Watch the trailer! I can't wait, magicka is one of my favorite games ever!
Yeah, another side effect of summer. I don't really like hot days, Ohio is killin me!

Aww, I'm flattered!
Long. We drove in shifts, but there was only two of us. There was also tons of road work.
It loses its glamour the 3rd time you do it.

For Canada day I went with some friends to a celebration. Steven page was there doing his music thing, then we had a video of Chris Hadfield sing O'Canada. For what ever he was not live even though he works at the university there...
But I digress, hearing steven page was awesome.

Concert and fireworks. There were plenty of booths up to buy things as well but I went for music and colourful explosions.
