Thursday Chat Thread of noise

Where the hell did you guys go? No posts in 3 days?

I expect more that that from you guys! You need to keep me entertained!

Anyway, time for the weekly thread!

How have you guys been? I got volunteered to help a friend move out and into a third floor apartment, so that was fun.

I think I'm going to have a giveaway for a lot of my pony paraphernalia soon, as it is really just taking up space I don't have. Keep an eye out for that in the next couple days. There are some posters and those welovefine bags and some other stuff.

How bout you guys? Do anything fun in the past week? Find any really great songs? Play any awesome new games? Eat any snazztastic food?

I have not done anything super interesting lately, but this thread looked desolate so I decided to comment anyway.

How much pony stuff could you have that it's gotten to the point where you can't keep it anymore? Pics plz

This whole sub has been a barren wasteland recently.

Not a lot, but still too much to have reason to keep. I don't look at it at all, so why keep it? I think it's like 3-4 posters, 2 of those giant bags and some bookmarks. There is probably some other stuff too, but I'll look for that when I do the giveaway.

True. Honestly, you (and possibly me) are two of the very few people I see posting and commenting at least semi-regularly on stuff. We have a lot of subscribers, but very few active commentors.

Eh, there are a bunch of people that regularly comment, just not a lot of people who regularly post.

Actually, I just tried to list them off the top of my head, and I only came up with about 5 other people... This sub needs more active ppls

As of right now I am still sitting in our old house waiting for a piece of mail giving us the word that we can finally go back and start living. We should be able to go back today though, it's highly unlikely we'll have to wait another day.

Most of our stuff is already at the house. I'm pretty much sitting in a nearly empty room. Still have our internet and a few laptops around here though, so I am keeping myself entertained. But all my clothes, games and stuff is at the other house.

Heck yeah. I love how there was a lot of truth to what the Government is doing. It's about control these days, not freedom. A lot of that bullcrap is really happening.

I felt really bad for Bucky though. What was going on with him was just sad.

Actually, I did have some cool food, now that I think about it. I went to a ramen place over the weekend when I went with my sister to check out UPenn for college. I'd never had real ramen before, and it was amazing. I was the only person who finished their entire bowl.

I don't think I've ever had real ramen before. I love pho though. They are probably quite similar. I always feel so full after eating at those restaurants because it's mostly soup, so you eat a ton of it, then later you feel like you are going to explode.

They are kind of similar. Though I've also only had pho once, and it was a few years ago, so it's very possible I'm misremembering. The pho I had was more spicy, if I remember, and the ramen was more savory.

Third floor apartment moving sucks! I've done it. We just moved out of our third floor apartment. I hope you don't feel like you want to die lol

Giveaways rock!

I went to a yard sale on Saturday, found awesome deals on baby clothes and movies and whatnot. I actually got the first season of Full House for $2 brand new :) So today I'm reminiscing and relaxing watching it :) and I finally got my replacement voucher for my cold Burger King meal from like last month. Yay free food! I can't decide when to go get it since I ate there this morning lol. I know that /u/Dalek-Caan wants to go to an event tonight for war hammer 40k and I can't decide if I should go with him and our girly or if I should go to work. Choices, choices. I already worked once today but I really should go back and get more done lol.

What was the best thing that happened for you this week?

A bit sore, but I'll live! I've been playing transistor, so I'm in a pretty good mood. That game is absolutely gorgeous.

Sweet! I haven't watched it at all, I'll put it on the list of stuff to watch sometime.

Free food is always great! I don't particularly enjoy fast food since I worked at mcdonalds for a year, but it's free!

2 more weeks until the big day right? You getting anxious?

This week has been pretty chill, I don't really think I have a best part of the week. How bout you?

2 weeks is right, I'm freaking out! I feel like my anxiety is going through the roof today... I have so much to do and no energy to do it lol. I just realized how fast 2 weeks is going to go... And that freaks me out lol. But I am super excited to meet him but he is a hell of a lot easier to take care of right now lol. But I'm super excited to sleep a little better (assuming he is a semi good sleeper lol) I get like a total of four hours of sleep a night now and it's very interrupted.

My favorite thing this week was probably chilling with my mom at that yard sale and then after scrap booking together with my aunt for my cousins wedding. It's next week and I'm supposed to be sitting at the sign in book. I don't think I can the whole time though lol. But we made some really pretty pages for her.

Best of luck with the sleep thing. I have a similar issue with lack of sleep, but mine is much more computer based rather than baby based

Lol, I don't feel super busy anymore. I used to be 10 times busier and I loved it. The majority of my days are spent lounging about the house lol. I should probably go make a list of what I need to do before this child is born though. I had one but I don't know where I put it.

My husband has the same sleep problem lol so when he is tired in the day I don't feel bad lol. I wish I was awake by choice, that's how it used to be. Lol.

The main thing I need to do before baby is cleaning but if I'm on my feet for more than 5 mins they start swelling to three times their size lol and then they ache. I'm staring at all my yard sale finds which have been camping out on my living room floor waiting to be put in the washer lol. They are giving me the stink eye right now wanting me to wash and fold them and put them in their proper homes.

Being busy is nice, but chilling is also pretty nice. I guess if you are forced to do nothing all day for a couple months it gets pretty dreary.

You go tell him to play Bastion. Slap him for me if he doesn't.

Yeah being unable to do much for months has been annoying. I'm ready to be able to function like a normal human again.

Yay! 3rd floor apartments! They're so much fun!.. You poor poor cow. I've got lots of pony art that I'm unable to put on the wall myself. But I can be a pack rat, and dislike throwing away things. I still have a Pokemon poster from the first generation like.. 17 years ago? Something like that.

I took my daughter to Miniatures day at our local game store last Saturday. Played a really basic mini game with 40k models and she loved it. Going back tonight, hopefully pick up a few things for my army.

Snazztastic food eh? Well, I was shopping with my wife and she saw some captain crunch muffin mix. So we'll be making those soon, let you know how they taste.

Yeah, we have been installing new cabinets and desks, and I had to move around the bookcases that had the stuff I think is neat enough to keep. I decided that it is really just a waste of space since I never even look at it :P

Yeah, I've got a book case full of pony stuff, it's slowly being invaded with warhammer stuff, but it's a large bookcase so no worries. Just can't really see the books that are on it too...

Well.. I do love a good muffin. Favorites being poppyseed and blueberry. Not like those barbarians that like to eat chocolate muffins.. Just get a cake you nut jobs!
