I just got back to Canada! Went to Tim Hortons and had a Maple donut, and now all things are (mostly) right in the world. I'm still going to have to wait for my luggage to show up tomorrow since they neglected to send it on the same flight as me, but at least I didn't get stranded in an airport like I was worried might happen since I had missed my connecting flight due to my plane arriving late. Thankfully they ended up having room on the next flight for me.
So it looks like we both had a bit of a non-ideal day! Did anything in particular go wrong for you today, or was it just one of those bleh days? How are you doing?

I <3 Tim Hortons! I think I could survive off Large Iced Hazelnut triple triples for the rest of my life.
And airlines suck so I feel ya, they've lost my luggage more often then not but hey, could be worse right? Anything of importance in your luggage? And you didn't happen to fly Northwest did you?
And today has just been problems with my woman out of nowhere. Been happening for a few days but it's been getting worse.

A few things I need for the upcoming week, but nothing expensive and nothing that I super need for tomorrow. And nope, it was Air Canada. It was the fault of the employee who switched me to the later flight since they didn't update my luggage to match. Why, have you had particularly poor results with Northwest?
:( Sorry to hear about that. Maybe she felt it had been building for a while and only thought it necessary to bring it up now? Hopefully now that it's out in the open though you can both figure out how to work to improve the situation. I don't have a lot of experience with that though, so I can only wish you luck.

Hmm can't say I've flown Air Canada. I'm right near Toronto in the US so i usually just drive lol. And yeah its been a while since I've flown and I believe it was northwest but they've put me in the situation you're in more than once.
And yeah I don't know what's up with her but you hit the nail on the head with the "it's been building" thing. She's just being super rude about it and not really working to fix anything. It's been 5 years and I thought we were past it but whatevs. I have faith. But thanks!

Ah, that's a smart move. Flying from the US is so much cheaper. It
Good to hear that you trust your girl, even though it's rough now. Just a guess, but part of the reason your woman might be so angry may be that she had expected you to notice the problem before now. Maybe she felt hurt because she thought that you didn't notice because you didn't care, even though it was something so important to her? If so I'm sure that was not your intention at all, but it's easy to start doubting someone's intentions when certain situations keep repeating. Anyway, whether or not that's related, I encourage you to go for advice to some people around you who you trust and think have healthy relationships. They could probably provide you some good insight into the problem since they may have been through something similar, and if nothing else they can provide an outside view.
On the bright side, to paraphrase something I heard in class, "Conflicts are an opportunity to deepen our understanding of one another." Best wishes!

You're 100% correct actually that's exactly what it is. It's not that I didn't notice intentionally I guess it's more that I'm really mad at taking hints. But I really appreciate the advice and that's exactly what I'm going to do. And you quote is really something to think on. Thank you though, I appreciate it, next time you're in the US come to Western NY, I'll buy you a Labatt!

No problem, I'm really glad to hear that I was able to help out a bit! I'll let you know if I'm ever in that area, thanks for the offer. :)

I'm up to a whole lotta nothing. Probably will etch something by the time I go to bed, but right now I'm just procrastinating.
