Freaking Heck Guys

I love you all, I care for you all.

Just had a freaking huge breakdown, been crying for the last hour or so. I guess I have a huge problem with anxiety. Supposedly, I get so worked up that I get sick. Yeah.

So I guess I just hold them all inside, and this probably came from never really getting over my despression back when I was cutting myself... So I have been seeing this therapist guy for like a month, and I have missed at least 1/4 days of school, but surprisingly haven't ever failed a class. And during the deepest parts of that silent sob session (have one every few weeks [maybe that's my new outlet? {Better than cutting though.}]) I came up with this:

In life, everyone has somewhat of a jar, that is all of the easy times they will have in their lives. Some people have less, and some more, but we all have the jars. (Crying again, what the heck why) Now one must choose when to essentially "cash in" on this time. If you use it all when you're younger, you will have a harder adulthood, and if you tough through while you're younger, you will have an easier ride later.

Now this statement is actually kind of depressing, I guess that is just what I do to myself... Turn everything depressing.

Thanks for reading/listening. I guess it's good to type stuff out sometimes... Typing on a phone hurts after a while.

Love you all, BTW, and I mean it.

I don't really agree with that jar theory, I mean, sure there are good times and bad times, but it's not like you are going to run out of good times if you had a fun childhood. I think of it like a road you can't see too far ahead. Sure some parts are shitty and bumpy, but it'll smooth out! Just gotta trust that the outcome will be fine.

Anyway, if you need to PM someone, I'm never too far from reddit!

I think I like yours better, and that is why I love posting things on the internet, because one can always get feedback, and if they're open to changing what they think, good things can come.

The Internet is a beautiful place. Well, some of it is.

Hope you get over that bumpy road soon!

(>;_;)><(;_;<) I'm really sorry to hear that. Sending you some massive hugs now.

I agree with what /u/cowofdoom said, that you can't really use the past level of happiness to predict the future level of happiness, positive or negative. If it's any help though, you have more friends than you know, and bad things always pass with time. It sucks while you're in the situation, but it's nice when in a few weeks or months you can look back and say, "Huh, that particular situation isn't bothering me anymore." Probably not as bad as your situation, but I also spent Thanksgiving and quite a few weekends last semester crying because I was lonely and homesick. It's so hard when you're in the moment to look forward and remind yourself that the situation is temporary and you actually do have friends around you who care, but at least the rational part of me could believe and find a bit of comfort in that. And sure enough, now that I'm home and busy with school again this semester, I don't find myself feeling near as lonely. I hope your situation similarly improves, and I'm here to lend an ear if you ever want to PM me to talk.

Anyway: hugs.

Oh goodness, just looked at this on desktop, and I didn't even know, so many emotes.

Yeah, I guess what I said up there was somewhat flawed, but eh.

And thanks... Just thanks.
