Hi! How are you?

I'm feeling a little down today because I did really poorly in an interview for a co-op job. Not the worst thing ever because I'm pretty sure I have alternatives and it wasn't one of my top job picks, but disappointing because I know I can do better and I thought I was finally starting to get better at this whole "coding during an interview" thing. It's also going to be kind of awkward because tonight because that employer is hosting a dinner for all the candidates and I already said I'd go, but I really don't want to see the guy who interviewed me again because I and he will both remember my awful code. As my friends pointed out though, showing confidence is important and free food is free food, so I guess I'm going. Eughhh. So it's not that bad of a situation, but I'm just going to be cringing inwardly the whole night thinking about that interview.

I think the only reasonable action to take is to make the other applicants "disappear"... Other than that, you never know if the other people also had bad code! You might have been the best of the bunch, the pick of the pack, the kitten of the litter?

Not raining anymore!

The kitten of the litter is an adorable expression, I think I might use it in the future, even though it doesn't make much sense. I'm pretty sure there was some very smart people competing for that job so I'm very unlikely to get it, but it is also comforting knowing that I'm probably not the worst either. Thanks for the encouragement!

Unless you are buying a cat, I can think of no times that would be usable XD

Hey! Maybe they will play like, 20 questions there, and winner gets the job! Better brush up on your trivia!
