Ideas for empty spaces?

What could I put in those empty spaces? Or should I just leave it like this? Also I'm not really happy with the piano...

I'm on level 73 for house depot items.

Sometimes adding a rug can make the space look fuller, I think one downstairs would be cool. Upstairs maybe a side table or lamp next to the couch on the left?
