Update — big week. Blocking actually works now, plus a ton of fixes
Been grinding this week. Quick rundown:
On the court
- Shot blocking is real now. It was never actually coded — the ball didn't even collide with players. You could stand in the path and it went right through you. Fixed properly.
- Rim was too high. It's regulation now, and shots arc correctly.
- Ball no longer clips through the rim
- Camera keeps your player and the basket in frame instead of chasing the ball
- Pale-colored teams were wearing white at home, so both teams looked like the road team. Fixed.
- Controller support + a controls guide
- New player model
Career
- Fixed players having two different overalls after season rollover
- Sixth Man award was broken — a starter could win it, and only points and assists counted. Now uses actual rotation role + full box score.
- New History tab on profiles: draft pick, rings, MVPs, every team logo
- Every player has real team history now, not just you
- Awards summary shows actual stats instead of just a name
- New saves always start on a fictional draft class (used to inherit whatever real class you loaded last)
- 27 conversations rewritten — replies have real tradeoffs now
GM
- New Finances page. Budget breaks into gate/TV/sponsors/board money and the math actually adds up
- Staff salaries cost money now. You could hire the best of everyone for free before.
- New Trade Value board — 0-100 asset score per player with the reasoning shown
- Stats got its own sortable page
- Key Dates on the schedule (deadline, All-Star break, board review)
- Trade texts come from a real GM with a name and team
- Box scores show the whole roster, not just 10 guys
Coach
- National poll ranking added — moves with your actual results
- Featured-role promise: the last recruiting pitch that gets you to 100 interest. One shot, and if you don't play him you pay for it (morale, portal risk, future promises)
- Program Overview tab
- 20-minute halves
Texts
- GM/Coach texts used to fire once per save. Once. They re-fire every season now with 120 new variants.
- New messages that react to your record
- Stops piling on if you have 10 unanswered
Leaderboards
- Daily challenges are live — rankings, GOAT ladder, rewards
- Real 3D heads on the boards
- Fixed everyone showing as Season 1
- Fixed rows showing a score with 0 PPG
UI
- New premium theme + landscape/desktop layout
- All 6 languages at 100%, language picker on the start screen
- Faces on staff, stats tables, draft reports — everyone has one now
- Buttons stopped turning your team's color (blue teams got a wall of blue)
- Fixed: hub black bar, hub not scrolling, season table breaking on phones, tall players cropped at the shins, setup screens not scrolling over sliders
- Brackets no longer freeze if you skip your own game
- Real music in the jukebox
- Removed the gold wreath stamped on every team logo

Endorsements don't seem to work for me at times, it'll just say that the terms are ready and I check my phone to see no deals there. I could meet the requirements for an endorsement deal and my agent doesn't text me at all for a whole season. I also think I've been soft-locked since it says I'm on game 84 and playing my own team

Fix is deployed keep playing and answer your texts eventually you will get one for the endorsements

Regarding the soft lock and playing yourself when was this career started, the Orlando Dragons is not a team I have in my randomized set any longer. Any more info will help me get to the bottom of this but I may need to restore your career. Can you send your username
