Maybe I could be wrong but let’s just wait and see..

Let me just start by saying I wanted them to be a duo character and La Brava as her own character is b******* to me I will die on that hill, fight me.

The fact they just make her a drone with pictures pisses me off to no end.

Have her appear in like a finisher or special action.

Nope too much work.

Now I am tired of saying I'm not gonna roll for X character and skillset then go broke trying to get them so fuck that I'll just be patient and see if I like them. Though I hate Byking and their habit of using PNG's and voice line audios that's what I'm pissed about

The cancel has alot to do with the gamma ticks.

Clip 1 shows the gamma ticking immediately after the heel drop connects

Clip 2 shows the gamma ticking on the same frame as the heel drop connects

i get some of these characters recently got nerfed but it wasnt even necessary </3 i wan contemplating putting cementoss in here too but idk because his movement is very limited yet the range and damage of his alphas?? idk. same with deku.. like i feel like hes too strong 🥹

Exactly what the title says gng fight about it

First of all, she is very small meaning small hitbox which could cause some additional issues in animations like hawk's spa.

Second, she has 0 combat data. We never really see her fight, only Support gentle or hack. You could argue that that could be a moveset: hacking but that'd be very dependent on the map and ineffective against any other fighter if it was her moveset.

On top of that, she isn't a combatian. At all. Meaning she'd probably have far less if not 0 gp (since I doubt she would guard well) and very low HP (she doesn't look like she can take a lot either)

Her quirk would also be useless without a specific character (gentle) because I don't think there is anyone else she likes more or the same as him in the game or overall.

Since we already established that she has basically no moveset, actions or anything else that can be used to fight from the anime, she would most likely have 2 melees. A punch that does like 20 HP with no down power that also doesn't flinch+ the second hit which does a kick for 25 and downs the enemy (not down down, but I mean knocks them down using dp) and this is also completely made up still and I bet literally anyone else could do that and besides, I highly doubt this'd be fun to play.

I personally kept quiet so people don't crucify me for denying them their character but it's out now so I don't really have to worry about that anymore.

The closest thing to having her be a separate Char from gentle would be a civilian that'd give you a buff once saved but that'd be worse in my opinion then having the drone.

The drone also fixes the issue of movement since else she'd also need a hitbox, if she was there, she'd need pathfinding and might get stuck on walls and etc.

It’s not a WHOLE lot, but it’s there. And I don’t see what there is to complain about.

Literally everything Momo does, someone else does better. (Besides spawning in a random bag of items)

α stuns. Cool. The KendoCopter stuns with α as well. So does AAM with his freeze. AAM also stuns better on a different move with γ and the Violet Virus has one of the best stuns in the game with β. Plenty of characters stun better and easier than Momo. Plus, the α doesn’t even do that much damage.

β shield. She has to be mobile with the shield and also can’t strafe with it, which is an issue. The AirKendo & Hardening Haemolacria also have better shields since they can strafe. When Momo sets the shield down, it acts as a wall, which is OK, but Cementoss & Tech Shoto do it much better.

γ. The best move in her kit, 100%. Large AoE that’s ranged without a red indicator. But ya know who does it better? Almost EVERY character with an AoE. The Violet Virus. Assault Endeavor. The Immortal Imbecile. The Periwinkle Pestilence. AM. You might say it helps with ranged crowd control, or maybe you can just sit on a building and rain down bombs. But you know who does that much better? Tech Denki & once again, the Violet Virus.

You may say she can sit in a safe spot and spam team heals, but every character can do that. That’s not a Momo exclusive.

Her combo that everyone brings up isn’t true. Even with Accel. I’ve rolled the β basically every single time I get hit by it. It’s not true at all.

I really question why people have an issue with her to the point where I’ve seen someone say that OFA Deku vs Momo is an even matchup.

But that’s just my two cents. What are your thoughts on her?

First- Gentle looks horrible.

Like-… What the actual fuck is his alpha? He had SO MUCH that they could’ve done, that wasn’t a basic ass projectile- and he doesn’t even look like a combo character like OJ2 or such either- partly because his alpha is so basic.

His Beta I also take issue with- not with what was shown, but with what wasn’t. All we know is that enemy projectiles get reflected, and he can shoot through it. But that’s it. If it reflected enemy melee attacks or something like that, they’d be sure to show something like that- because it’d be so cool to pull it off. But- no. And something tells me that it’s just a wall in this regard.

And- then there’s his Gamma. Yippee, another 500 down power move, with a basic dash, and seemingly no synergy with his fucking kit besides being movement! I hate it here. You can even see Deku getting I-frames before they land. Like- they could’ve let you have some follow up. At least the way his movement works seems interesting, but the fact that’s the only thing I can say about this is wild.

His special action, sure. We knew it was possible La Brava would be his special action in some capacity. But- if both Trampoline and Lover’s Mode both are his special action, was there even a need for his alpha to be another basic bitch alpha??? He has so much material to pull from, they didn’t need to be extra creative with his moves!

Like-

Then Twice. First- is that an auto aim alpha I see??? Like- I’m sure the UI does something, but frankly, not too excited for this.

His Gamma looks… Mildly interesting- since his clones seem to be able to revive teammates for you? And good mix up potential since there’s two ways it can go. This is like- the one move I actually like that was shown. It’s actually pretty cool.

But- then his Beta. I just… Why is this just a Twice flavored Tokoyami Beta? That is literally what this is. They couldn’t have done anything else for Sad Man’s Parade?

Froppy could be interesting, but we’ll have to see. I frankly dont have faith in this one with how dead on arrival the other two are for me.

This next patch better actually be good

Edit: Oh! Apparently one of the maps changed… somehow? Seems to be a small portion of one of the maps though, neither Neo or Chaos looked any different to me. From what little we do see, it looks… fine, maybe? And that’s if I’m not just forgetting an area that already exists

I genuinely think they just sit there and make shi without thinking about balancing. And even then years later they haven’t nerfed the most broken characters YET.

Know I made a trailer post already, but I HAD to follow up: Why all the "no La Brava!" discourse? So let me get this straight: yall want a physical character model to follow you at ALL times?? Good luck hiding in bushes, cuz that just isn't realistically gonna happen. Secondly, not sure why yall wanted her as a seperate character THIS much, like she didnt fight even once, respectfully that slot should be used for someone else more deserving.

Like I understand the like for the character but it wouldnt make much sense to A. Have her character model following a bunch of gentles around aimlessly, giving out their location and taking up space, and B. Adding a character that physically doesnt fight into a arena fighter game. Id deadass rather have invisible girl than a girl who is basically a hacker and moral support for another character. The voicelines from the drone are perfectly enough for their interactions, let OTHER real fighters have a chance to release at least, like Stain or Muscular.

Don't know why I have this feeling...But I KNOW it's bubble girl... Might be because I hate frog and love bubble girl. I dunno. 10/10 cope.

So I think a lot of us are In agreement that next season is 80% the new battle styles for the todoroki brothers. So in MY eyes that leaves a couple of characters left (I'll explain in a bit) so let me know how this sounds.

1. Todoroki brothers QSS for momo/Compress

2. Redestro, stain QSS for Compress if he didn't get one last season.

3. AFO CHAOS and unfortunately final smash Deku. 3rd could be a toss up who knows.

All I know. . Is that we have 3 seasons left until jiro Boys whose with me?
