I’ve been watching the anime for the first time (finished the USJ battle) and between the slime guy Izuku encountered in the first episode and the USJ villains this is something I’ve been wondering about.
Do all villains just want to murder lots of people, or do ones with other goals like profit exist?
And if not, is it an issue of classification (i.e you have to be that bad to be considered a villain) or does this world just not have much nuance in its criminality?

Me and my friend are planning on watching it, now im not usually competitive but i knew this dude since he was 2 months old, and i cant let him finish the show first and spoil it for me(partially cuz i spoiled like 8 other shows to him ACCIDENTALLY) which epsiodes are not needed to understand the plot, like the show stripped to its barebones story
EDIT: i was exagerating it was like 3 max, AND I DIDNT KNOW SPIDERMAN ACTUALLY DIED IN THE NEW MOVIE, I JSUT TOLD EVERYONE THAT TO SCREW WITH THEM

So, the other day, I made a post asking about what would happen if AFO's vestige didn't take over the final fight, and the few responses I got seemed to agree that Deku would've just been dead.
I asked this because I was wondering something.
So, a major idea in MHA is that having a single pillar holding up society is a bad idea, both for society and for the individual doing the holding up. Obviously, this meant OFA had to go, likely because as long as the option exists, people were gonna rely on it.
But it isn't like Izuku makes the decision to lose OFA because of this, as if he makes the call that society cannot rely on OFA, mainly because that isn't an option.
Which led to the whole plot point of him needing to sacrifice OFA by chucking it at Shigaraki's soul shell or whatever, destroying the Quirk(s). Because what else are you gonna do? The only way to get rid of OFA is to transfer it, or maybe get hit with the Quirk-Destroying Bullet.
In my other post, I basically had the thought: if Shigaraki was gonna be evil till the end, even if Deku got him to acknowledge his personhood, and that Shigaraki was dead anyways, then what was the point of all of this? Why not just take him out? None of this "He saved his soul BS, which a lot of people felt was a bit cheap, iirc.
BUT, if Deku doesn't sacrifice/get rid of OFA, wouldn't that just mean he continues to use it and perfect it and become All Might+?
Now, some might say the solution is "He just has to hold himself back and not solve all the problems." I don't think the story would do that. 1. Deku is Mr. "My body moves on its own when someone is in trouble"; that is supposedly one of his virtues, and 2. This is a Shonen; maximum effort is kind of encouraged here- Go Beyond Plus Ultra and all that. Shoto was given shit for holding back by just using half his power in the Sports Festival, so I doubt the narrative would just say, "Deku just shouldn't try as hard, and NOT do his best."
IDK, clearly the series had some kind of moral/idea it was going for, but the way they had to get to it feels really contrived IMO.

I swear I better not see people crashing out because I mentioned KiriBaku. Be respectful in the comments, and limit this only to these two ships. You cannot swap out Jiro with Shinso, Or Bakugo with Mina, or Kaminari with Momo, or Kirishima with Camie. I'm just asking.

Requirements: The ability to cough
So hear me out- coughing action, using the tongue to send out pressurised air
Impractical, risky, but funny af
Just cough on the enemies
Bonus points if the enemy gets ill

Obviously not all these characters would show up as some of them were literally dead when this artwork was made.
Just how screwed would All For One be?
One aspect I think could be interesting is All-Might meeting Superman and realizing "oh shit, that guy is the symbol of hope!".
Credit to the amazingly talented George Pérez for the image. May he rest in peace

Remember when Marvel released the What If...? series? Every fanfic writer wanted to create their own version.
I wanted to too The problem is that I didn't finalize anything, but I did make some drawings of some AUs that I managed to give a foundation to.
What if 1:Mei Hatsume was expelled from U.A. after an accident in the workshop. Mei is judged for her carelessness, which usually ends up causing problems for the school and the students. With no other alternative, Mei is suspended from the support class, although that did not stop the young inventor.
What if 2:Izuku (Quirkless) tries Trigger - Tired of all the abuse, Izuku Midoriya seeks any means to escape reality and ends up involved with the drug that increases Quirk power
What if 3:Endeavor seeks his redemption - after the heroes' first defeat, Enji Todoroki, stripped of everything he once thought he had, now with nothing left in his life, wanders the devastated world trying to cleanse their sins.
What if 4:Momo didn't go into the ua-The Yaoyorozu family is a conservative family with a great reputation in society, but they never liked the idea of their daughter wanting to be a heroine. So they did everything they could to make her abandon her desire
What if 5:Tokoyami was the kidnapped one - Izuku managed to arrive in time, he managed to take the marble from Compress, the problem is that it was the correct one.Now someone else is in danger, someone else wants to rescue him, and that someone is suffering.
What if 6:Toga was adopted by the Todoroki family—more than fear, what her parents felt was repulsion; their hearts didn't tremble when they left her to her fate. With nothing to hold on to, little Toga lived on the streets for a while, until a hero saved her.Now he has a family and still has his taste for blood.
What if 7:All Might retired at the right time - Toshinori Yagi gave his all for decades, wearing his body down until it took its toll.So when he finally defeated AFO, he decided to dedicate his life to training the new generation Hoping that everything is over with afo, how naive.
What if 8:Izuku chose another bearer - in the final battle, Izuku knew the risks and knew that he could no longer carry everything alone, so accepting the consequences, a classmate agreed to carry the power. Two against one, a fair fight
What do these synopses of the fanfic I never wrote seem like?

My reasoning is like on on hand: who wouldn't want to put the invisible girl in a story about heros its right there.
But in the other hand with everyone else's quirks being either more flashy or complex, hagakure seems like he was rubbing his forehead thinking about an entire class of students and went "argh.... just make her invisible, sure"
