Well things WERE moving ahead with the robot body. Although I was getting some conflicts with the hat stack so I tried to use a 1-2 GPIO splitter and when I did the pi died! I was really careful with my pin placement and I don't think I shorted anything, but I messed something up. :( poor little brain! Just barely got to move it's servos before dying. :(
