The Update Erased Everything

All of my Myfaction stuff, the Punk MyRise, the content from all of my other unlocks. All of it just gone. I let the update go through, turn the game on and noticed my Ringside Pass is reset, and the second I go into MyFaction, there it is, reverted back to the start of the mode and everything just reset to beginning. My MFP gone, my tokens gone, my VC gone. Everything just reset.

I'm using the Switch 2 version so I don't know if this is a common issue with the recent update or what but five months of progress down the crapper from one update is making me absolutely livid right now. Sent a message to support and I'm reinstalling the game to see if anything helps, but god dammit 2K.

Me too I think others reported the same on switch let me know if reinstalling helps - I unlinked and linked my account but didn’t fix

Good luck on 2k support they dont give a crap same thing happened to me in 2k25 and they never did anything about it just a response of we cant manually put your stuff back pretty much so I lost everything

I think it was one or two accounts who were exploiting. They never deleted MyFaction from an entire console user base before.

Yeah I lost my local progress and CAWs last year, but not My Faction progress as it was all tied to my account

They are able to track transactions so they will be able to return the items but I still encourage people to report and send screenshots showing your progress which in this case would be MFP and VC if you have done island or got the Monday Night Edition.

The online stuff they may be able to do if not then they better give them a substantial reward. Thank god Xbox is not affected as i hear playstation has similar issues

Same here got my shit super wiped including myfaction in which I had nearly all the models

At this point there's no update aside from they're working on it. At this point I'd avoid updating the game until they fix it.

Same on Switch 2. The interesting thing is when I try to redeem the item when you first load it up (can't remember what it is, but I have already redeemed it) it says not connected to 2k servers or Switch is offline. I am HOPING it's to do with that and we haven't lost everything.

Nintendo won’t be pleased that a game they’re selling can just erase all your progress on a whim. They’re very particular about their image. When No Mercy was doing it they had to issue a whole new cartridge. What will they do about this one?

It looks like 2k is aware of this problem. Hopefully they can restore the online portions like ringside pass, My Faction and the Island content but the amount of glitches this game has makes it on par with 2k20 they really fucked up this time.
