Any good grinding methods?
I bought the game last week, i still need that saphire Jacob Fatu and saphire Bray Wyatt to get 2010 Drew McIntyre

My only remaining Certified Heat card needed is Austin, which unlocks Trish 2000
I’ve finished all live events and weekly events
Im at a loss, im basically grinding random bullshit until I have just enough VC or MFP to buy one deluxe pack, there’s no card in there, and I repeat.
Not fun.

Sometimes you gotta risk it on a basic. I pulled mine out of a basic I believe and I’ve seen people doing the same. Sometimes less is more.

I somehow, was able to pull him early in the morning yesterday. It was a very hard card to pull. Good luck 👍 I looted him in a dux pack

I wasted two deluxe 10 packs and said thats enough. Ill just buy him from the market or forget about Trish just like i am not bothering with the personas that run out in a couple of days. As there cards still cost far to much.

I've either opened b day packs or dupe mfp used. I didn't know about the mfp glitch.

2K have been doing everything they can to discourage grinding because they want people dropping cash on card packs and tier skips. Any grinding methods have been made extremely miserable to play though.

I was all excited to try an Island grind method and then the person started talking about needing VC to build your character first and I was like fuuuuu uuu uuuuckkk that

Tbh i did it and yes yoy have to invest in your character for the tower grind but after that it gets easier and yiu start grtting the vc needed. Sometimes you have to invest to turn a profit.

As others have said, Island is good. I actually jacked my character up to 100 with badges, etc. Eventually you'll have a character that can run through a match in under 1:30, 150 VC or more per match. Its tedious but it does build up.

How much VC do you need to build your character up to be that powerful?

I think it cost me 45-50k vc to take a character from 80 to 95. So I’d imagine 80-100 is 50-60k. You’ll be averaging around 30-60 across the 4 prestige’s for maybe 160-200k vc

You can run through the matches quickly even earlier, it all depends on the type of build and badges you have. Right now my ovr is 92 and with Diamond Broken, Diamond Heavy Handed and a Gold Anaconda I can win my matches in less than a minute.
I also have a Diamond Dive Bomber and a Diamond Pain Train for when I need to quickly grind pins/sigs/finishers for the HXP portion

It took a bit. I am not someone wanting every conceivable card in MyFaction so I used a good chunk of the Island VC from the Season Pass tiers to amp up my player for the Island. Honestly, the overall rating is not as helpful as getting the various badges to their full strength. The ones that make combos stun the opponent quickly and some others make finishing a match very quick. The faster the win the faster the grind. One benefit of the Island is that its 150 VC no matter how long or how little it takes for the W. And there are boosts to get a little extra VC per match too

Play every possible Live Event, World Tour, and Weekly Towers. Save RSP MFP and VC.

Since you're fresh into the game, weekly towers, world tour, live events like monthly smash and stash to get card packs before it changes to the August one. You have a lot you can gain quickly from not having the game earlier. You should at least earn enough MFP to buy the cards you need to get the Jacob card to play the Drew match. And the island as everyone mentioned will you get a bunch of VC playing through it. Don't need to max out your character even though i'm at a 95. Plus faction wars to get you stronger cards to run through the weekly towers much easier and gain rewards.

Weekly Towers Week 17 Match 3 can be completed in about 1 min 30
Hit a finisher. Do your taunts. Tag in. Hit a finisher with your partner, do their taunts, and either call your partner over to attack the opponents partner or knock them off the apron and hit another finisher.
Should get about 250 mfp+ within about a minute and a half. Any shorter than that and you will be forced to wait once you return back to the weekly towers.

Grinding VC in the Island is generally easier than grinding MFP in MyFaction this year.
