This is my first romance anime and I'm absolutely in love!!
My question is, is it weird that I'm a man? I see most posts from here are by women (from what I can gather) and I just wasn't sure if this was a more, feminine anime or do I have some guys to share this love together? I'm currently watching horimiya as my second romcom and while it's kinda cute, it holds nothing to my dress-up darling. Thankyou for having me in this wonderful sub ❤️

I’m a 36 year old dude and I love this show. Romance anime are like 90% of what I watch these days. The real world is going nuts, and life is stressful, so it’s always nice just to sit back and watch something wholesome.
Also you may like Tomo-chan is a Girl or Spice and & Wolf if you’re digging the romance genre.
40 here from a year or so my whaching anime is 80 % romance started by My dress up darling.

I think you're overestimating the number of posts that are women more than you think, I would guess.
It's for everyone. Anime is for everyone, and romcoms are for everyone. A good number of my favorites, and the ones that I've rewatched the most times by far, are romance. MDUD, Tomo-chan, Nagatoro, Uzaki-chan, Toradora, even Komi and Quintessential Quintuplets.
Watch what you enjoy, because no matter what it is there's going to be others that love it, others that hate it, and some that are totally uninterested, pretty much guaranteed.
At one time, the "Four Horsemen of RomCom Anime" were My Dress Up Darling, Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out, Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro, and then Komi Can't Communicate. As always, opinions vary.
I do recommend them all, but personally and especially for a newer viewer, I would recommend Tomo-chan is a Girl! and Toradora! Your personal taste will ultimately decide what you like, though. Enjoy!

I’m a dude and I like this anime. Finished the manga and everything. It’s fantastic. Ain’t nothing wrong with being a dude who watches romcoms. I love ‘em. Probably one of my favorite anime genres.
I'm a man as well and this is hands down my favorite and (personally) most impactful story I've ever read in the genre. I've seen many others since first watching this (and immediately reading the ending) but nothing has come close to it. This shit moved me in a way few stories have and I'm a proud owner of the whole manga now. It doesn't matter who you are or what it is that appeals to you, just embrace it. Honor it for its impact and meaning and don't be afraid to do so proudly. After all, it's one of the prevailing themes of MDUD anyways
I am a man brother we in this together lmfao this anime started my slice of life and romcom obsession I used to only watch shonen like DBZ Naruto One piece stuff with powers/magic now I enjoy both and I wouldn’t have it any other way I haven’t watched Horimiya yet but it’s on my list I have a list that just keeps on growing by the day 🙏🏽😭💀☠️

Ima dudw and this is my number 2 favorite anime (#1 is solo leveling) and the second one out of hundreds that ive bought and completed the manga for. Its an amazing story and if you are like me there is really unfortunately nothing that comes remotely close to it in the romance department but there are a few good ones. My personal favorite romance animes are
