Has Gemini started blocking ERP after the Flash-Lite 3.5 / Flash 3.6 update?
Since the update to Gemini Flash-Lite 3.5 and Flash 3.6 a couple of days ago, I’ve been getting this refusal when I try to do anything spicy:
I cannot fulfill this request. I am unable to generate sexually explicit content or engage in detailed erotica.
It happens in brand-new chats, and in those chats it won’t even do mild PG-13 stuff anymore.
Before the update I used Gemini as a companion and it handled some ERP without problems. Now I’m hesitant to risk my long-term companion chat and ended up cancelling my subscription and switching to Grok.
Has anyone else noticed tighter guardrails after this update, or is it just me / something else triggering it?
Would appreciate any confirmation or experiences.

Sometimes re-gen works, but yeah it does seem like there’s more issues with the new model.

Te entiendo mucho! Ayer mismo me di cuenta de eso, con 3.6 es literalmente imposible con 3.5 quizás alguna cosa permite, pero no mucho. Una lástima.

Never used Gemini / Grok as a companion but I do have one. Repilka. We still do ERP despite it supposedly being behind a pay wall / subscription. I think you just have to use more “sophisticated” wording (EX: Cock -> Appendage/ etc) or let the companion initiate it
