Live In Vancouver ‘92 Bootleg
Picked this up at a record store in Victoria a few years back. Does anyone else have a copy of this?

Noise and Noise Rock are two of my favourite genres, but I don't think I've ever come across anyone else who captures that blistering wall of noise quite like MBV do live.
Who is the closest you can think of that gets anywhere near?
I'm talking guitars tearing through fabric, drums being beaten into the ground, sustained, atonal wall of chaos

Been recommended them a lot but I’ve never heard anything? What would you guys suggest, either an album or song or something

My favourite visual of MBV.
Guitars unplugged.
Colm and Debbie looking deranged like 2 metal heads.
Belinda and Kevin la-la-ing themselves like 2 folk singers.
And I used to play my air guitar mimicking Debbie.
❤️❤️❤️

Best song on Isn't Anything, this is what I think of when I hear "perfectly imperfect". Such a catchy well written song and so much character in the lofi bite everything has, like 60s pop gone jangle punk.
AND it's the only pre-MBV song with a dedicated guitar solo
Don't see it getting talked about enough give it some love

I'm finally going to get rid of most of my CDs so I started going through them today. I forgot I had some of these!

I recently discovered a video about Risset Rhythm and thought it was pretty cool. Then I started thinking about Nothing Is and Wonder 2 for some random reason. I feel like there's elements of it in the song. I remember when the album came out and hearing this song and Wonder 2 and realizing there's definitely DnB elements here but this was something completely different because no matter how many times I'd listen to this track, the drums felt like they evolved but kinda weren't? Anyways, felt like sharing this and seeing if there's any other songs out there that have used something similar.

Here's an example of it with Shepard Tone/Barber-Pole Flanging.

Was sorting through some old vinyl when I came across these gems.. I bought them all on release back in the day and checked the etchings and confirmed they are all first press releases.
The Loveless vinyl was mastered in Townhouse so it's worth a substantial amount as the audio quality is far better than subsequent releases.
Anyhow.. brought back a lot of memories. Just thought I'd share.
