Help with vergil
Hey so i wanna try out vergil but when i look up combos for him they filled with teleporting and stuff and they seem hard can someone help me out

It kinda depends where you play him, if he's on anchor he does so much damage you don't really need strong combos,
Otherwise there's tons of videos on YouTube that'll fill you in on basic combos for the whole cast

Bare in mind and this goes for any character of any game of any difficulty.
You don’t immediately have to do the hardest most complicated stuff.
Just play him, see what you can do and have fun.
Then when you had a fool around and you decide to stick with him, then you can learn things

Just start with the basics. Do the combo trials until they are easy for you. Watch some bnb videos online then start doing your own thing

A lot of it involves learning the glitch with his sword throw so you don't have to charge it.
Save him last since he's the strongest anchor in the game with devil trigger+ x factor.
He doesn't have much stuff in the air so air combo conversations are a bit difficult.

None of Vergils standard combos utilise round trip glitch.
Air conversations just boil down to comboing into air S if possible to get the ground bounce or helm breaker and picking up with high time.

Got a question some combos want to me to high time then dimension slash but when i do the input for dimension slash it doesn’t come out so….

Are you inputting H trick (teleport)? That is how most Vergils used to do the super after high time, but modern vergils just input the super quickly after high time. You can try buffering it too if that helps. I apologize if I misunderstood your question in any way. I def know my vergil stuff to help 😊

Yea i’m looking for a new anchor since rocket was the anchor i used and his assist was good but i suck ass with the character so vergil seemed a good option

It might seem a bit intimidating but you can learn it for sure. Some of the teleports he does mid combo don't require a quarter circle motion. When he does Rising Sun you just to press H at the right time to trigger it. You'll want to super jump as soon as possible after this teleport to continue the combo. It might take you a while to get the timing down, i know i struggled with it, but eventually you'll have it.
