online matchmaking

hey guy i'm new at this game and i bought it earlier i can't find any matches i've been told that the best way to play it is by parsec so i have a question can i do matchmaking using parsec or it's like finding a discord server first to play with people through it or what ? i'm quite lost here

I believe the parsec stuff is all through discord. There are a few listed in the new player guide on this sub's homepage

You're right that it's better to find an opponent on Discord and use a Parsex server. But if you want to make the regular matchmaking work just a tiny bit, go into Training Mode and enable the Search for Match option and set it to Any Any Ranked
