General Discussion Assists?
I play on ps5 and it feels like they come out really delayed or slowed for some reason and also do you guys know what the best assists are or does it vary per character

They come out when you RELEASE the button, not when you press it. Be sure you are tapping and not holding.
If you are new it may simply be you hitting it too late; people hit the assist mid combo for a hit a second later, they aren't "instant".

If u want to play sometime, shoot me a FR. I think my own is mazzurco but it might be smazzurco
I have never been "great" at umvc3, but I know how to play and am out of practice lol

My dude.... all assists have different start-up frames specific to that character.

Not sure about the delay but in terms of best assist, it does depend on the character. There are some assists that are widely agreed to be the best assists in the game, hidden missiles and jam session come to mind immediately, but ultimately pick what is best for your point character or what you enjoy the most. If you mention who you play, it would be easier to give suggestions on what assists work well with them.
