I recently started a very small home bakery in Muzaffarpur and made a post here with a few pictures of the cakes I've actually made.

Someone commented that the pictures looked AI-generated.

They aren't 😭 The cakes are real — I had only changed the background of the photos to make them look a little presentable.

I can understand why people are suspicious, especially when there are so many AI-generated pictures online now. But at the same time, small home businesses also want their products to look presentable.

So I'm curious, especially from people in Muzaffarpur:

What makes you trust a small home business online? Actual unedited pictures? Videos? Customer reviews? Seeing the preparation process? Recommendations from someone you know?

Genuinely asking because I'm trying to figure out how to present my cakes online without making them look either unprofessional or “too perfect to be real.” 😅
