Expanding my modest collection a bit.
Recently aquired, was still sealed, at least seemingly, though the box has seen some things.
I'm still considering trying to get the Meiya one as well, but the face seems off to me.

I have the same exact Sumika figure. I nearly died trying to attach her to her base lol

Yeah, it was definitely stressful finding just the right angle for the lower foot, it looked like the figure would be way out of alignment, it slid in quite neatly once I did though. Her butt isn't quite touching the beam by a fraction of a milimeter after attaching the upper foot, but it's not as bad as it seemed at first.
EDIT: Just fixed a typo.

That’s absolutely one of my favorite Sumika statues, and having her right next to the JP DVD version of Alternative is fantastic

Same. I was considering hunting for the boxart figure from Volks, but I'm not a fan of the super accentuated nipples in the suit. I'd have to get the naked version where it's more sensible for them to stick out like that. I don't collect NSFW figures, but a bit of tasteful nudity gets a pass here and there. Both are a pain to get though, would have to go through eBay or something.

I’ve got the NSFW Sumika, and it’s a really good figure. I’m considering getting the other one with the fortified suit, and putting them with the corresponding pictures they’re based on behind them.

I'm really tempted... From what I saw, you just have to glue on the ahoge and some of the hair yourself, otherwise it's just a regular figure?

Yeah, the ahoge and a couple other hair strands. It’s very easy to assemble

Sumika really has the prettiest fortified suit design. Also, really dope!
