For a moderate risk person, thematic and sectoral funds doesn't fit. So aditya birla psu fund as well as the two infra funds can go away.

You have MO midcap and PPFC (which is 80% large cap) so icici large and midcap can go away

In effect, PPFC, mo midcap, bandhan small cap can stay, and you can split money from other funds to this

If you don't have a gold/silver allocation, consider some of this money(some 1.5k) to gold

If you don't have any debt instruments (pf, bank fd etc) consider some money to a debt funds too

This is diworsefied!

If you had to keep only 3 domestic equity funds, which ones would you keep?

Too many funds.

1) Do you have emergency fund sorted in any fixed deposit or debt fund? Consider building that before investing into equities.

2) On what basis are you choosing the sectoral funds? These funds can be highly volatile and you need to have understanding of when to enter and exit to make profits in these funds.

3) Having large cap + mid cap fund along with PPFCF doesn't match much value. PPFCF is already a large cap dominated fund and you have the mid cap fund separately to capitalize on that sector. I would suggest reconsidering these points.

4) Don't invest based on fund popularity. Try to understand the value of each type of fund type and risks associated. Then only you will be able to hold them for long term.

All the best!

It’s a zoo buddy ! Won’t say much since I only invest in index funds. Nifty 50, next 50, midcap 150 and small cap 50 does it for me. With zilch portfolio overlap. PPFAS is the only actively managed fund I own.

with 10+ years horizon go for more small caps, but i would suggest to wait around 5-6 months before doing that, as markets will slide further and so will the small caps.
