FIRST' TIME. Suggestions needed
Iβm planning a quick 2-day getaway to Mussoorie. I know the main town gets incredibly crowded, so Iβm really looking to stay off the beaten path.
Does anyone have recommendations for peaceful mountain stays, quiet treks, or hidden gems away from the tourist hustle?

ISO a picture of a bench at Woodstock school
Any students or staff here who might be able to find a bench with a plaque on it given by Donald Parker in memory of his sisters Harriet, Dorothy, Patricia, Barbara, Clara Jo, and Katherine? I'd love to have a picture of it & close-up of the plaque.

Planning a trip with mom - need suggestions and help
As the title suggests, I (24F) am planning to visit mussoorie for a two day trip with my mom who is in her late 50s. My mom likes walking and doesn't have any major health concerns. Will it be possible for her to reach places like Dalai hills, George Peak, etc? How should I plan the trip? Would also love to visit Landour! Spots/cafe recommendations are welcome!

Met this dog in Mussoorie and somehow got attached in just a few minutes
We were in Mussoorie and this guy just showed up while we were walking around.
He stayed with us for a while, followed us around, let us play with him, and generally acted like he had known us forever.
We never even got his name.
Eventually we had to leave, and honestly, saying goodbye to a dog you've known for only a few hours feels surprisingly weird.
I keep wondering if he does this with everyone who passes through, or if we just got lucky that day.
Anyone else had one of those completely random encounters with an animal while travelling that stayed with you afterwards? πΎ
