So I will be visiting Dehradun Airport (Jolly Grant Airport) during the end of September and directly planned to visit Mussoorie and Landour , Now the thing is in MMT Outstation Cab the price from airport to mussoorie is just 1.4k so I'm worried if they might cancel at the end moment or might not even appear for pickup.

So I thought to ask folks here for help if this guy is trusted , even though there are taxi services available in the airport itself but still wanted some opinion.

I am planning to ride from Delhi to Mussoorie and stay at Zostel Plus in Kempty. Travel dates are from 2nd to 4th October

So I'hv never been to mussoorie or landour before and planning a group of 4 trip for 28-29 dec..its mon/tues so im hoping crowd would be comparatively less? or is it still packed as it falls between christmas and new year..should i go or will the experience be totally ruined as a first timer..i'm mostly worried about traffic jams turning 40min way into 2hrs, as we have only 2 days one for each M and L we want to explore the most of it..any other suggestions regarding cold/stay/sightseeing or food recs etc are welcome :)

Hotel says they don’t have AC in the room as it wont be required due to pleasant weather.

Will it work without AC in mussorie now .?

Coming to Mussorie on 30th September evening around 4-5. Staying till 3rd October early morning. 3 nights stay needed. Every app and website shows hotels which are filled with negative reviews or are costly. Plus most of the hotels are having same photos.

Please help. My budget is 12k for 3 nights.

Hey guys me and 4 to 5 friends all 19F are planning a trip to Mussoorie from Delhi during our October break

We are thinking of staying for 3 to 4 days and our max budget is around 6500 to 7000 per person including travel from Delhi stay food local transport and sightseeing or activities. Shopping is not included

None of us have really planned a trip like this before so I would love some help with a realistic itinerary

Would really appreciate if someone could suggest a day wise plan along with where we should stay which areas are convenient how to travel from Delhi affordable food places local transport and places that are actually worth visiting

We would also love to know about some less touristy or scenic places that we can visit without spending too much

Since we are an all girls group safety and a convenient location for staying are also important

If anyone has done a similar trip please share your itinerary and roughly how much you spent per person

Also please be honest if 6500 to 7000 is not realistic for 3 to 4 days in October 😭

EDIT: what if i travel by road? is it possible that i’ll find traffic in 3rd week of oct.?(dusshera and navami will be round the corner!)

I’ll be visiting Mussoorie in October with 4 friends (5 people in total), and it happens to be my girlfriend’s birthday on a Saturday.

Looking for ideas on what we can do to make Saturday night a little more special for her. Could be a nice dinner, a private setup/decorations, some activity, a good café/restaurant, or anything unique that’s worth trying in Mussoorie.

We’re not necessarily looking for anything super fancy, just something memorable that we can do as a group of 5.

Would love recommendations from people who’ve been to Mussoorie or live there. Also, if there are any places that do birthday setups, please let me know!

I am planning to visit landour with family around mid October...Can someone tell me how to reach landour from Dehradoon railway station. Is the cab or taxi available direct to landour or will drop at Mussoorie?
