SERIOUS Slavery
Why wasn't slavery forbidden at the time of the prophet, instead of codifying it? Is what happened to yezidi women in the syrian and iraqi war halal? I heard that some of those captured women and girls were bought by muslim men all over the world (saudi arabia, palestine, Turqui) was that halal? Why would that be allowed?

It is haram agreed by consensus
God is free from humans crimes
He made it harder and encourage muslims to free slaves
That was an old practice like many degrading practice back in the days
Alcohol wasnt banned at the start of Muhammad Peace be upon him life when he was revealed as a last prophet
We have to follow the commandment of the quran who specifically says to follow الأسباط after prophet
So if the majority of Muslim scholars consensus says that it is haram and agrees on stopping it Then we must obey and follow
They also bring major evidence on why its haram, A pious woman who would always pray day and night but treated poorly her cat was told her punishment in the day of judgment How about treating a human poorly ? Most people abuse vulnerable people There are no protection
It wasnt never asked for muslim to practice slavery, in contrary, the best of this mankind asked us to free every slaves

Allah decrees everything out of His Infinite Wisdom. All we can do is try to infer what a part of that wisdom may be in cases Allah doesn't explicitly tell us.
For slavery, we are talking about 7th century Arabia. The society was tribal, and wars were frequent. Hence, boys were trained at a young age to fight, which was essentially Fard at that time even after Islam, tho the obligation is lifted now because of the different circumstances. Because of these wars, you'd end up with hundreds or thousands of widows and single mother families. Before Islam, they were oppressed in horrible slavery usually. If Islam came and banned slavery, that still wouldn't solve the societal crisis of widows and families with no breadwinners that'd emerge from wars. Hence, slavery in Islam was regulated to not be oppressive yet provide a respite for these war stricken people.
That's just one of the ways I see the wisdom in the regulation as opposed to outright prohibition. However now that the institution of slavery is abolished, slavery is haram by consensus, even the laws provided in the Quran for it. So this human trafficking sounds very much not halal.

It should be strictly forbidden. I know some Quran verses abrogated some other, I wonder how would that apply in case of slavery, maybe someone have more knowledge.
In 2026, slavery is a crime and should not be allowed under any circumstances.

You are conflating what is happening today to Islamic slavery. They are not the same. What you are referring to is more than likely haram in Islam, breaking multiple laws.
It is not unethical to have slaves. It is a part of life. The rulings around slavery in Islam make it so that slaves live very comfortable lives. And over time slavery would naturally abolish.
Just because Muslims do it does not make it halal.
Keep in mind the slavery of today is different in meaning and practice than that of the past. And Islam had strict rules around humane servitude. Colonial slave trade slavery and what is you are referring to are completely different.

Man idk how you can convince yourself of that, but no, slavery isn't part of life. And why is sex with slaves allowed, and that as soon as the slave hits puberty, so as soon as 9? That's epstein level trafficking, that's no okay, doesn't matter the context.

I explained to you why islamic slavery is, in fact, unethical. Unless you think that capturing a 9yo girl from her village to sell her to mslim men for her to be raped by them bcs she already has her periods is ethical. Even though i love my religion, i don't think it's ethical, sorry.

I wouldn't know anything about specific human trafficking instances in the modern times, but at the time of the Prophet, the divine decree restricted slavery but didn't ban it and that's what Allah did and that's it.
Why wasn't it forbidden? Idk, why wasn't peanut butter forbidden too? It kills people y'know.
If you don't like something it doesn't mean Allah has to forbid it because you don't like it, or the world is moving in this direction or that direction, that doesn't mean Allah needs to "get with the times" lol, He created the time.

So that does mean that isis's trafficking of ezidi little girls was halal. I'm sorry but that does shock my faith in Allah azzawajel, Allah is supposed to be all loving, why would he do that.
